Chapter Thirty Eight

"So you mean to tell me she came over here and threatened you?" Landon asked and Ana nodded sullenly. She was in a dark mood. She had wanted this day to be a good one, just her and her best friend. But it looked like something always got in the way of the time they were supposed to spend together.

"I- she had those pictures Landon. The ones Farouk had taken before." Ana sniffled. She had tried so hard to forget that moment of her life. And Helen bringing it up was taking her back to a dark and dreary place.
