Chapter 10 A Day Before The Play

"Katie..." I opened the door of my room when I heard a familiar voice. He's here again.

"What do you need?" I asked annoyed as I opened my bedroom door.

"Let's talk. Take this, it's my peace offering to you." He showed me a box of cake that he bought maybe on the bake shop downstairs.

"We don't have anything to talk about. Go home." I said and when I was about to close the door, he suddenly cried.

"What happened to you?" I asked.

"Forgive me, please." He said and give me an amen sign.

"Give me some reasons to forgive you Enrique." I said.

My family are not here because they're buying tickets, me too, I'm going to leave the condo later at night for tomorrow is the big day.

"I will be very good to you this coming days and I promise I will never make a reason for you to be mad. I am sorry." He said.

"Okay. Then better be good." I said then I finally go out of my room, I couldn't eat the cake for now because it's too sweet. It's a danger for me duuh!

"Let's eat this and later I'll help you to bring your things on the hotel, are you and Gabrielle staying on the same room?" He asked.

"Probably. I'm sorry Quen I couldn't eat that now, maybe tomorrow night, after the play." I said.

"Thank you because you forgive me." He said.

"I'm not really mad with you, I'm just waiting for you to send me some nice things haha. Kidding." I said.

"I'm excited to watch you tomorrow." He said while straightly looking at me.

"Thank you, I don't have things to do here, maybe we could play something. These cards." I get my ice breaker question cards.

"In this 200 cards, were going to pick three cards each and then were going to answer it." I explained.

"Okay, you first." He said.

"Love is an emotion or a duty? OMG! Why is the question like these?" I laughed but I'm thinking hard for a nice answer.

"For me when you are just a teen lovers, it's an emotion but as you grow older sometimes it became a duty." I explained.

"I remembered so many people." Enrique whispered, even though I heard it, I didn't ask a question for it. It maybe sensitive for him.

"Next one for me is, what is your favorite color? And why? It's Pink, cause color pink always remind me to be sweet and kind, and also color pink is cute." I said.

"Next one... OMG! It's a privilege. I will ask a question for you. Okay?" I want to ask him this.

"Sure." He responded.

"Let's talk about few years ago, did you have feelings for me? True or False." I said then he smiled sweetly.

"Yeah. I have feelings for you few years ago." He said and I was shocked.

"Really?" I asked him again.

"Yeah." He replied.

Is it okay to be happy right now when I know the truth?

"Why you don't tell me before?" I asked.

"Number one rule on ice breaker is that we will never be asking a follow up question, right? It's your last question so it's my turn now." He said and then read the questions that he picked.

"Number one, who's the last person who say I love you to you? Oum many fans last night but I don't know them one by one so my answer is Alexandria." He said.

"Uy, are you two dating?" I asked.

"We are not yet dating, were just friends but really comfortable with each other so we can say that." He said.

"Next question is what can you say about the happenings in your work? Many things but I would always say that good things will happen it you prayed for it and work hard for it just to achieve that." He answered confidently.

"Your answers are too long Enrique." I said.

"Yah! I slowly learned how to answer long, how to answer in paragraph way and not only a phrases." He said.

"The last question my dear, what's the last question?" I asked.

"The last question is, 'If today is Valentines Day, who will you bring into a date?' Hmm. You. Katie. Because why do I need to find someone else. You are just infront me." He answered gladly.

"Katie. Enrique." Kuya gladly said when they saw me and Quen.

"Kuya, Mom and Daddy." I said.

"Hi Kuya, Hi Tita and Tito." Enrique joyfully said.

"It's good that you are here Enrique, are you taking Katie in her hotel room this night to prepare for the play tomorrow?" Daddy asked.

"Yes Tito, I'm helping her. If it is okay with you?" He asked back my Dad.

"It's okay, you know what is right and you know what is wrong." Daddy said.

"Yes Tito." Enrique answered as he nod.

"Mom, Dad, I'm fixing my things right now, it is okay if I didn't help you with the chores now?" I asked.

"Yes, it's always okay sweetheart." Mommy said and I get Kiko before entering my room, he's my little helper. He knows how to open my drawer.

"Kiko, could you please get my make-up bag?" I said then immediately he jumped to get to the chair and bite my makeup bag and then bring it to me.

"Arf!" He barked as he handed me my bag.

"So sweet of you my little on, rest first, I'll tell you again when I need something." I carresed him and let him rest beside me as I packed my things, later on. Mommy just get in into my room.

"I'm already finished packing my things mom, why?" I know that she's going to help me, that's the main reason why she get inside.

"I want to talk to you, about life sweetie." She said.

"Yeah mommy sure." I said and offered her the space in my room.

"Just one question baby with a very real answer. Are your relationship with Enrique serious?" She asked and I don't know what I am going to answer.

Should I tell mommy the truth or should I keep it instead?

It takes me a couple of minutes before I answered Mom's question.

"Yes mom, were veru serious with each other, we love each other so much and were planning to marry each other in the future." I said, it's wrong but I need to do it. All of the hardships here will be wasted if I will not do this. Only me, Gabrielle, Nicko and Enrique knows the truth between my relationship.

"But you are just 24 sweetie, I think it's too early for you to get married." Mommy said.

"But you also told me that loves knows no age, right Mom?" I asked her back.

I'm sorry my Lord if Im doing this.

"Yes sweetie." She said before we get out of my room. Enrique was still here.

"Hi Quen, I already packed my things." I said.

"That's good, what time are we going to the hotel?" He asked.

"Later, after I'll do my chores here." Nanang is not here because she is sick, I feel sad when I know that she was sick but I sent money to her daughter immediately.

"Kate, do you need to go now? It's okay baby, Kuya and I can do this." Mom said.

"Really Mom? Thank you." I said before Enrique get my bag inside my room.

"Take care my Princess." Daddy said as he waved his hands.

"Your parents talked to me earlier." He said.

"Really? What's your topic?" I asked immediately.

"Our topic was I'm serious with you, what are my plans to you, if I have a plans marrying you in the future. They asked me that." He told me.

"That was our topic too, mom talked to me also, and I told her that we're talking about our future this days." I said.

"Katie. It is hard to lie to your parents?" Enrique asked.

"Super but I need to, You, Nicko, Gabrielle and me are the only persons who knows about this 'relationship'." I said.

"Yes, so we better not be caught by any media... And speaking of media, they're following us. Look." Enrique point his fingers on the white van that was following us.

"What are we gonna do?" I nervously asked.

"Your hotel is private, they cannot get inside so don't worry." He said before he drive fast so we can get to the parking lot quickly.

"Faster Katie." He said while his holding my hands, he told me to wear the jacket and the cap.

"Okay." I said and then he locked the elevator faster.

"It's my first time to this, woohh! First time to skip the press!" I shout.

"Yeah. I know. It's exciting right? Seems like on an action movie." He said.

"Yeah, super exciting. And this memory will last forever, because you are with me when I did this 'first'." I said then he smiled.

Damn! He's making me crazy with his smiles.

"We're finally here!" He deeply sighed when we entered the hotel room.

"Woohhh! Thank you Enrique! Super thank you!" I said then he kissed me on my cheeks, gosh! But I didn't get mad. I like it too. Besides, it's only on my cheeks.

"I don't know what I'm going to do if you were not with me." I said then he hugged me tight.

"When you are with me, don't be afraid because I am always here to protect you."
