Nathan cleared his throat. Since he became Larry's assistant and secretary this is the first time his boss was out of focus.
"Excuse me, Sir." He knocked on the door again to get Larry's attention.
"Sorry to disturb you, Sir."
"What is it?" Larry asked still looking outside the window.

It’s been a week since her dad arrived. It’s a little worrying since there's only two days left before her due date. She keeps getting scared. What if her dad notices their lies? Simon assured her that everything’s going to be alright. She already inculcate in her mind that when her labor pains start "the slip accident should happen in her room" so that she could ask her dad's help and bring her to the prenatal clinic they have chosen. Simon already paid a big amount on this lies so she better keep it together. She hates deceiving their love ones but what can they do now? They both need this.

It's been around forty minutes since Jewel entered the operating room, the achy feeling is overwhelming. She can't help cursing Larry inside her head. She's thankful at least Simon was there. "Take a deep breath... Just a bit more." The doctor has been encouraging her through the entire process. She look at Simon next to her and holding her hands. He's sweating and also breathes in and out as if his the one giving birth. Though in pain she burst out laughing at the same time she heard a baby cried.

He can't believe it, he was not aware that Simon and Jewel will be staying in West Country for good. He thought he got everything under control; he spent a lot of money just to rent the apartment next to their unit. This is the failure of his second plan to be near his beloved. It has been a month since Jewel return to West Country. She mostly stayed at Hall's Mansion. She personally looks after her son. She was pampered by the household. Mrs. Hall requested that the baby sleep in their room once or twice which she gladly obliged. The first few days in the mansion, guilt was eating her away especially when she watch the people around her give so much love and affection towards her baby. Simon keep's reminding her that it's okay, she was doing him a favor and in the first place it's his own doing. He was the one who announced it without informing her. In the end she learned to accept the fact and the situation. She promised that she will return their graciousness a thousand fold.

"You have more money than I am. It’s unfair to you coz I can get more money from you than you are to me." Jewel called her dad to invite him for dinner in Hall's Mansion. They have to talk about the wedding details. She was still anxious about the future but everyone was expecting a wedding sooner or later.
