Chapter 12

"Freya, are you okay?" Jacob asked in surprise. He noticed the beads of sweat on her forehead. Her eyes were restless as if they were always looking for something.

"I-I need to go to the restroom," Freya blurted out.

Jacob nodded and didn't ask any more questions. He made himself busy about business. He got a bit of a headache when he received a series of emails from his father's secretary.

Freya looked back at Jacob as she walked. Just a few more steps and she was close to the restroom. When she saw Jacob staring at his cell phone, she immediately ran out of the restaurant.

"I need to find them before they find us, first!" said Freya as she walked quickly. Her eyeballs almost popped from scanning the surroundings. "Where did you went? Offspring of the grasshopper !" she shouted when someone suddenly appeared behind her.
