It was a typical Friday afternoon, Cassandra found herself engrossed in her work. The clinic was bustling with patients, their ailments varying from the common cold to chronic conditions that required long-term management. Cassandra moved from one examination room to another, offering her expertise and compassionate care.

As the day wore on, Cassandra's last appointment arrived—a young man named Ethan, a regular patient who had sought treatment for a knee injury. Ethan was undeniably charming, with his warm smile and confident demeanor.

Cassandra led Ethan into the examination room, where she prepared to evaluate his progress. As she inspected his knee, they engaged in light conversation, discussing his recovery and the exercises he had been performing diligently. The friendly banter between them created a comfortable atmosphere, setting the stage for what was to come.

As Cassandra continued her examination, she noticed Ethan's gaze lingering on her a little longer than usual. A subtle change in his tone, accompanied by playful remarks, hinted at a different intention behind his visit. She maintained a friendly yet detached demeanor, focusing solely on Ethan's medical needs.

Just as she finished outlining Ethan's exercise regimen for the following week, he took a deep breath and, with a mischievous twinkle in his eyes, cleared off the subject of his knee entirely.

"You know, Dr. Anderson," He began, his voice laced with a newfound boldness,

"I was wondering if you'd like to join me for a night out at a club this Friday. We could dance, have a few drinks, and enjoy ourselves."

Cassandra paused for a moment, caught off guard by the unexpected invitation. She contemplated her response carefully, understanding the importance of maintaining professional boundaries while handling such situations delicately.

"Ethan, I appreciate the invitation," Cassandra replied, her voice gentle but firm. "However, as your physician, it's crucial that we maintain a professional relationship. I'm here to provide you with the best medical care, and it's important to keep that focus."

Ethan's confident demeanor faltered slightly as he absorbed Cassandra's response. He nodded, acknowledging her words while struggling to hide a hint of disappointment. It was evident that he had taken a risk, hoping for a different outcome.

"I understand, Dr. Anderson," Ethan said, his voice tinged

"I apologize if I crossed any boundaries. Your professionalism is one of the reasons I hold you in such high regard."

Cassandra smiled warmly at Ethan, appreciating his understanding and respect for her position. As much as she valued her patients, she recognized the importance of not blurring the lines between personal and professional connections.

"Thank you, Ethan," Cassandra replied, her voice filled with sincerity.

"I'm glad you understand. Your dedication to your recovery is admirable, and I'm committed to helping you every step of the way. Let's focus on getting you back to full health, shall we?"

Ethan nodded once more and finally left.

The day came to an end as Cassandra returned home, her heart pounded with excitement as she approached her front door. It had been days since she had last seen Elaine, her best friend and partner in crime. As Cassandra turned the key in the lock and pushed open the door, her anticipation reached its peak.

To her surprise and delight, Elaine was waiting for her right inside the entrance, wearing her trademark mischievous grin.

"Elaine! I have missed you, why didn't you visit me earlier" Cassandra exclaimed, her voice filled with genuine joy.

Elaine's laughter tinkled in the air as she hugged Cassandra back. "I was busy with a lot of things that I couldn't find time to visit, I am so sorry Cass."

“Well it's okay” Cassandra replied knowing she had a lot on her mind lately.

Elaine stepped into Cassandra's cozy living room, looking around with a sense of familiarity mixed with curiosity. The room reflected Cassandra's eclectic taste, with vibrant colors, bookshelves filled to the brim, and photographs of their past escapades displayed proudly on the walls.

As they settled onto the couch, Cassandra made some tea, relishing the warmth that filled the room.

After an hour of laughter and nostalgia, Cassandra leaned forward, excitement twinkling in her eyes.

"Elaine, I have an idea. We need to celebrate your visit properly. How about we go out tonight? Just like old times to help you forget things?"

Elaine hesitated for a moment, her mind momentarily clouded by thoughts of responsibilities and routine. She looked at Elaine and nodded, a thrill coursing through her veins. "You're right, Cassandra. Let's do it! I'm ready for a night out."

The friends jumped up from the couch, thrilled by the idea of an evening of merriment. They dashed to Cassandra's bedroom, eager to choose the perfect outfits for the occasion. The closet doors swung open, revealing a myriad of possibilities.

With a combination of laughter and deliberation, they sifted through dresses, skirts, blouses, and accessories. Elaine's sense of style clashed beautifully with Cassandra's bohemian flair, resulting in an assortment of outfits strewn across the bed. They twirled and posed, commenting on each other's choices and sharing secrets only true friends could.

After much deliberation, they settled on their costumes, feeling confident and ready to take on the night. Cassandra slipped into a flowing, jewel-toned dress that matched her eyes, while Elaine opted for a sleek jumpsuit that accentuated her figure. They accessorized with statement jewelry and playful shoes, their transformation into night owls complete.

As they stood side by side in front of the full-length mirror, they exchanged satisfied glances. The reflection staring back at them radiated an intoxicating mix of beauty.

"Let the night begin," Elaine declared, her voice filled with anticipation.

Cassandra grinned mischievously. "To new adventures, my dear Elaine. Let's make tonight unforgettable."

Hand in hand, the inseparable duo walked out the door, stepping into the night with hearts brimming with excitement. The city lights twinkled in anticipation, ready to bear witness to the rekindling of their fiery spirits.

Cassandra and Elaine stepped into the dimly lit club, their eyes adjusting to the pulsating lights and the rhythmic beats that filled the air. The atmosphere was charged with anticipation as people danced and mingled, their laughter and voices blending into a symphony of revelry. It had been a long week, and both women were eager to let loose, seeking an escape from the monotony of their daily lives.

Cassandra, with her flowing auburn hair and piercing black eyes, led the way to the bar, her heels clicking against the polished floor. Elaine, her raven-black hair cascading over her shoulders, followed closely, her gaze fixed on the array of colorful cocktails displayed behind the counter. They knew exactly what they wanted – a night of carefree abandon.

"Two shots of tequila, please," Cassandra called out to the bartender, her voice barely audible over the thumping music. The bartender nodded and swiftly prepared the drinks, sliding them across the counter with a knowing smile. The women clinked their glasses together, their eyes sparkling with mischief, and downed the shots in one swift motion.

As the warmth of the tequila spread through their bodies, Cassandra and Elaine exchanged mischievous glances. They linked arms and ventured onto the crowded dance floor, their bodies moving in perfect synchrony with the pulsating music. Their laughter mingled with the rhythm, creating an intoxicating energy that drew others towards them.

With each passing song, Cassandra's carefree laughter echoed through the club, while Elaine spun and twirled, losing herself in the exhilaration of the moment.

They were ready to seize the night, to indulge in their desires without restraint. Cassandra took Elaine's hand, and together they weaved through the crowd, their bodies brushing against strangers as they searched for the next adventure.

In a secluded corner, they found themselves entangled in conversation until they got separated abruptly.

Elaine found herself in a room with a man, he had carried her in his arms all the way to the room.

He carefully placed her on the bed and covered the duvet when she held his hand.

“Where are you going?” she asked him.

“You are drunk?” he replied. His voice familiar like she had met him before.

“Don't you want to sleep with me?” she asked gripping his hand tightly. His dark eyes pierced on her body, from the minute he saw her, that was the only desire he had but the woman in front of him was drunk and wasted, he couldn't do that.

He kept quiet watching her, she raised herself up leaning closer to him.

“Dont you want me, am I not beautiful enough” she asked then giggled.

“My husband doesn't think I am beautiful, he hardly looks at me” she said in a whisper but he could hear her clearly.

“You are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen” he answered.

“Then don't you want me?” she demanded.

Elaine couldn't bear the thought of being rejected again, she was willing to do anything to make sure she slept with the handsome stranger.

“I want a lot of things but I can't have them” he uttered.

“I am right here, you can have me” she replied, slipping down her dress and revealing just her underwear.

“You have no idea what you are doing?” he responded.

“I do”

“I want to be free from him tonight, I want to relive what it feels like to be wanted” she answered yearning for a touch.

“Free from who”

“My husband, I may love him but I am nothing to him”

“Why?”

“Please, no more questions” she pleaded with him.

“You are drunk” he pulled his hand from her walking away when she rushed in front of him.

She ripped his shirt open and jumped on him, he instantly caught her.

Their eyes pierced each other as she leaned closer to him then she gave a long and passionate kiss.

The man’s thoughts were in a scramble after the kiss, he moved backwards until he got to the bed where he laid her down.

With his hands, he gently removed every cloth on her body revealing hers to him.

“Fuck me” she demanded, his eyes dead shot and his breathing haggard.

He took off his clothes in haste to enjoy the moment…

The sun rays from the window glowed on Elaine as she woke up to see a shirtkess man in her room.

“What are you doing in my room?” she asked in shock, then she looked around and realized it was not her room nor the familys mansion.

“No” she shook her head realizing what she had just done.

The man slowly turned to her,

“You are awake” he said.

Recognizing the voice, she lifted her head to him.

“Richard” her eyes opened in shock.

Elaine noticed how his eyes raked the room, then back at her. “I was saying something!” She snapped, making him turn his face to her. He smiled and gestured that she continued and that she did. She feared that he would turn her down because that was what most men of his kind did; and even though that idea still sounded appealing in a way, she also knew she would get tired of living here if she did nothing in a month. “What do you intend to do then?” He drew slowly. His deep voice once again drew her in and she found herself moving closer to him as if in a trance. “I don’t know… I could probably handle a random social media page for a start. Maybe then I’ll think about expanding after I’ve gotten the kind of fan base I need.” She answered hopefully. To her utmost surprise, Richie agreed. She couldn’t believe it! Just like that! “Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!” She chanted like a baby, whilst bouncing from foot to foot as she couldn’t hold in her excitement

It was another morning, Elaine got home yesterday rather early. She felt dirty after all the scenery and memories that came back. She was sure that a full bath would calm her down. She had her anxiety pills that she always used. She also had some syrup she used to calm her nerves. She used them too. She took off her clothes and went to take her shower. She let the water run down her entire body. Elaine was scared and in pain. She really hated the fact that Richie was still unwell. She sighed and exhaled as the water touched her. She remembered it all again. She remembered the first time she tried to run away from Mystro when she used to stay with him. She had prepared that she would sneak out through the back door when he was asleep, she had planned that she would run away, she had stolen some cash from him and she hid it. She had drafted her plans and it was going smoothly. She prayed that night and decided to sneak out. She had gotten out of the door and just a

Elaine had somewhere she had to be. somewhere she was going and she didn't want to get there late or even leave there late. She was dressed in a long body con gown. it was soft and not a see through. she had her hair packed in a bun, she didn't use a mask or anything like that. She stood in front of the mirror and watched herself. she swirled and held her black mini bag. it complimented the grey gown that she had on. She wore some rings, fashionable ones and a pair of earrings. She had always loved being pretty and standing out. she went on to do a finishing touch on her face. she said down in front of her shelf, it had perfume and some makeup there. As she applied her lipstick, she suddenly remembered what Richie said. "consider being his wife again?" she squealed. She had been waiting for this, since she reconciled with Richard. "I can't wait!" She added as she squealed again and dabbed her face with the powder. Elaine knew where she was headed, she planned on not te

The next morning. Elaine knew the previous day had gone and yet, the pills she bought hadn't worked again. She laid beside Richie and watched as he slept so peacefully. She couldn't believe she wasn't pregnant, after trying so much. "What the hell is wrong?" She asked as she looked at him. She was sure those pills were fake. She hated how she had her hopes up. "So much for some cheap drugs." She palmed her face as she spoke. She rolled her eyes and looked at Riche. There weren't so many thoughts that went through her head but there were some thoughts. She sat up and sighed. She yawned and looked around the room. Richie was fast asleep. He didn't have a worry in sight. Richie, who wasn't awake yet, didn't have any idea what she was doing or what she was up to. Elaine remembered the night before and how she ran like a lifeless chicken when she thought she was pregnant because of how nauseous she felt. Anyone would be anxious. She had a million thoughts a

Elaine "No, it can't be that way. They are fake. Why would I lie?" Elaine said over the phone in a very harsh tone. She had her arms folded as she walked around with a telecom that Richie used, hands free they are. They gave her the opportunity to express herself the way she wanted too. It was just morning but she was already angry. She walked around with so much irritation. She was on the phone with a lady, it was the lady she had bought something from. The pills to make her get pregnant quickly. Some days back, Elaine had bought something that she kept from others. She had kept it from even Richie and didn't tell a soul, not even to mariam. What's worse is that the drug doesn't even work like it said it would. Elaine knew she had to inform the seller but neither of them was taking it easy or gently. She was in a Jean bum short and a big t_shirt. Elaine just wore any outfit she saw ready. "If only you can try to be understanding." The man on the othe

Elaine turned away and walked out. She rolled her eyes. She didn't like the Jane at all, even though she was just a worker at Richie's company. She could see how much her eyes usually light up whenever they looked at Richie. She hated that, and wondered if Richie knew. Richie saw her and he saw how fast her mood changed. He didn't understand what transpired between the two of them but he found it funny. Elaine looked like a jealous house wife as she left his presence. He scoffed as he turned back to look at the visitors. Even if it was just around late in the evening, he wondered what summoned their presence. He had a straight face, even when he knew he had unfinished business with Elaine. Richie always loved his comfort, he was so sure they didn't come to him for business affairs. He stood straight and tall as he looked at them. He had different thoughts about each of them but he was sure not to let that cloud his mind or mess up what he had in mind.
