I rushed out of his office as my cheeks warmed up.

I walked and ran to get out of there, passing gossipers on the way.

"I told you she'll be fired right away."

"It lasted exactly one minute."

I hurried back to my office in office management, despite the fact that I wanted to yell at them and fight with them.

I was about to walk in when Jela and Mrs. Romero interrupted me with a question.

I ignored them and went to put my belongings in the box.
