Ch 30: Cold father-in-law

Bella's POV

And as I had predicted, he kept quiet and didn't reply to my most awaited question. Then I rolled myself to the other side of the bed and closed my eyes to sleep. He himself changed into a night robe and crawled inside the same blanket as mine to sleep together.

" Hey, what are you doing?" I panicked pulling my blanket over.

" What do you mean by what I'm doing? This is my bed and this is my blanket. Do you want me to sleep on the floor on this chilling night?"

" But mother-in-law said I'll be sleeping here so your bed and blanket are mine now. You should sleep on the sofa with your pillow and other blanket," I said as I pulled my blanket from him.

He clenched his jaws and coldly suggested," Bella, why don't you go over and sleep on the sofa? Return back my blanket or else I'll kick you out of my bedroom."

"How dare you threaten me? Is this how you're going to take good care of me? Liar,you lied to my father and now I'll suffer..."
