Chapter Four - All in the Eyes

Her eyes met a man, not just any man but a handsome man. He had a Platinum blonde hair and scythe shaped eyebrows. His hawkish nose and defined cheekbones sat above an oaken jaw.

She would have assumed he was a model but he had a manly, Samson physique. His almond shaped hazel eyes were afire with passion and delight. She could not take her eyes off him.

Suddenly, he turned his face towards her direction but she quickly looked away and pretended to focus on her phone, feeling tensed already. She stole another glance at him and unfortunately their eyes met.

Prisca tried to control her breathing as she started experiencing hot flashes which spurred her to take multiple sips of the wine in front of her. She wished he had averted as she began to feel restless, while subconsciously comparing him to her boss.

He wore ritzy clothes with an enchanting smile. She wondered why he stood at the balcony of a room in the hotel.

On the other hand, when he turned and caught a glimpse of her, he nearly lost his breath. He watched her as she felt uneasy, taking repeated sips from the wine she had ordered while putting so much interest on her phone.

Even though she was sitting, he could see the faint suggestions of her curves underneath her tight silver dress. That colour stood out against her tanned skin.

He noticed that her legs were crossed, forcing her dress to pull up and sit a few inches above her knees and also revealing her cleavages.

"So sultry", he mumbled, wondering what could possibly be the cause of her restlessness.

He felt the undeniable lust and dangerous desire heating up his skin and he decided to approach her.

“Hello sweetheart”, he sensed her fear and was careful not to make any threatening move.

“Hello”, she managed to say waving at him.

“You look quite anxious. Are you ready for a sexy, rough, pillow biting round of hanky panky tonight?” he teased.

“Nah I’m good”, she answered with a smile tugging at the edge of her lips.

“I guess you’re expecting someone already but do you mind if I keep you company until he shows up?”.

"Fair enough," Prisca blushed but her mind was in turmoil.

How was she going to explain to her boss that she was not having any romantic relationship with the man she was sitting with?

Concurrently, she had no intentions of sending him away since loneliness was already creeping its way into her as everyone in the lounge were sitted in either groups or pairs. Whatever was going to happen next, she knew it was all her doing and she was ready to take responsibility for it.

She took a quick glance at the dashing man in front of her and noticed he was still staring at her. He saw a wave of vulnerability that covered her face and her whole body trembled as she lifted up her face to look at him.

He felt rather protective and was ready to unleash his amorous feelings to her.

"If you are going to keep staring, then you should probably buy me a drink", she chuckled.

"Not a bad suggestion from a damsel like you. Of course I owe you a drink but I must confess, I find you really intoxicating. I can’t help but find myself lost in your eyes. Did you get dressed up for him or do you always look this good?” he asked with a hint of incredulity, mirth lacing his deep voice.

Prisca smiled sheepishly at his cliché lines and decided to compliment him too. "You look quite stunning too", she said smiling.

"Oh please!" He smirked. "Frederick, but most preferably Fred", he said extending his hand towards her.

“Prisca, she replied taking his hand." Nice meeting you Fred, Prisca muttered. He let his gaze roam across her pretty little face while her chocolate brown eyes pierced his soul, setting his whole body ablaze.

"Not a bad match", Prisca huffed, breaking the silence between them and smiled at his choice of clothing.

"Thank you", he grinned. I'm willing to bet I dress much better than your male folks, he teased".

Prisca rolled her eyes at this, literally checking him out one more time and damn! Did he look so hot? Two buttons were left undone in his casual chambray shirt with the sleeves rolled up, exposing the muscles strained against the fabric of his beefy forearms.

"You have no idea," she shook her head, giving him a wrong impression.

"What do you do sir?" she asked absently.

"Drinks first," he exclaimed while turning to face the waitress and ordering for some bottles of his favorite wine. "Well, I work with the cruise ship in the western part of this country".

"Sounds great! Prisca jumped in. "Looks like you have got some days off?".

"Yeah, a day rather", he shrugged.

"Isn't that quite stressful already? She asked innocently.

"You can't say less," he smiled and continued. "That's why I prefer to lodge in signature hotels around the globe whenever I get my time off. That way, I'm able to ease off stress and give myself a treat before returning back to the ship". Soon, the waitress returned with the drinks and he poured some into the empty glasses.

"Cheers to my latest friend addition", he said lifting up his glass.

"Cheers" Prisca smiled as she clinked glasses with him before taking a mouthful of the drink.

There was something about the tone of her voice as she spoke, that ridiculously attracted him to her. After downing what seemed like a starved gulp, he pulled his lips together in an awkward smirk before releasing it to speak again.

"Enough of me already, he said smiling. "I'd like to know more about you".

"You should be specific, if that is the case". She said rolling her brown eyes at him.

"Were you texting someone earlier on? He inquired.

Her eyes were wide as she stared at him unblinkingly for a few seconds.

"What?" She asked cagily, sipping her drink.

"I mean, your mood drastically changed some minutes ago while I was staring at you from afar. What's going on? He asked politely.

"Nothing much, she beckoned. My boss invited me here for dinner and uptil now he hasn't showed up", she mumbled.

"Oh! I've been there before, he smirked. Never mind, someday, you would definitely find someone who will sweep you off your feet but you should try to stay positive, you never know when your luck might shine".

Prisca looked at him briefly and nodded, "might be anytime sooner than you think".

"I doubt!", he said laughing.

Apprehensively, his heartbeat increased drastically as they eventually fell into silence, laughter surrounding the thin line of air between them. She stared at him from the corner of her eyes, generating an electric spark that was capable of driving him insane.

He always loved brown eyes but hers were enchanting and somewhat magical. He felt her eyes pull him in, almost unknowingly, to quench the thirst he had for her. Her pink lips were soft and full, the lipstick she wore made it look like wine and he wanted to get drunk in them.

He knew he was wise enough to appreciate a beautiful lady when he saw one and concluded that she was charming in her own way. He gently took the glass of wine in front of him and gulped it down hungrily to distract himself from her. It tasted quite heavy and tannic, causing a shadow of passion to darken in his eyes.

She slowly bit her lips as he met her gaze again. This time, it sent consuming heat down her entire body which finally settled between her legs and she found herself leaning in, as if to run his fingers at the base of his neck and and taste him.

He quickly understood the gesture and leaned in too, brushing his lips against hers. There was no room for doubts, rational thinking or even gentleness because they both wanted each other badly and she kept on pressing her lips into his, kissing him desperately with a sensual melody that kept switching from passive slow movements to fast dominating ones.

She was completely intoxicated by his warm, heavenly scent while his lips tasted like some kind of flavour she has been craving for. When they pulled away for breath, she caught him licking his lips, arousing the inrush of desires that covered her body. The hunger was already there and waves of pleasure hummed her entire body, making her feel alive than ever.

Do you mind taking me home? She asked still breathing heavily.

Gosh! She's tempting me. He had never lost control with the women he came across with but he found her extremely fascinating.

"If you insist, but I already made a reservation for myself here. You could spend the night here with me if you wish and I promise not to go wild with you, he added.

That was the only practical solution he could come up with even though his sense of reasoning was slightly obstructed, he knew that would offer a measure of self-control and a clear conscience to him.

She stood up, almost shakily onto her feet and he was pressurized to hold her, since she was slightly drunk. She took slow unsteady steps but he clasped her in his arm, feeling his body worked up from the clashing of her curves against him.

Not sure what came over her, she wrapped her arm around his waist and pulled herself up against him as they walked towards the room.
