The iron gates of the Villareal Mansion looked like the bars of a golden cage. Standing by the grand entrance, Elena Cruz tightly gripped the strap of her worn-out duffel bag. Her chest tightened as she looked up at the massive, modern estate. She didn't want to be here, but with her mother’s soaring hospital bills and the endless threats from debt collectors, she had no choice. She needed this job.

"Sumunod ka sa akin, Elena. Huwag kang pakalat-kalat dahil ayaw Mr. Zachary na may nakaharang sa dinadaanan niya," sternly ordered Manang Josie, the head housekeeper, as she led Elena through the grand marble hallways.

"Opo, Manang," Elena replied softly. Her voice was gentle, her demeanor completely modest.

She was wearing a simple, faded t-shirt and jeans, her long, dark hair tied into a neat ponytail. She didn't wear a single drop of makeup, but her natural, effortless beauty was impossible to hide. Her smooth, porcelain skin and the soft, innocent curve of her lips always drew attention—even when she desperately tried to blend into the background.

Her task for the afternoon was simple: dust the grand library on the second floor. Elena silently went to work, carefully wiping the mahogany shelves. Lost in her task, she didn't notice that the heavy double doors of the library had opened.

Zachary Villareal walked in, loosening his silk tie after a long, stressful day at the corporate office. He was exhausted, irritated by the board members who kept pressuring him to find a wife for his father’s inheritance. But the moment he stepped inside, he froze.

There, bathed in the soft afternoon light hitting the window, was the new maid.

Elena was stretching her body to reach a high shelf. Because of her movement, her simple shirt pulled up slightly, exposing a sliver of her smooth, narrow waist. Her chest heaved softly with her breathing, and a few stray strands of her dark hair fell beautifully across her neck. She looked so pure, so completely untouched by the dirty, manipulative corporate world Zachary lived in.

Zachary’s dark eyes narrowed. He stood frozen by the doorway, his gaze tracking her every move. For a man who had completely shut his heart to women after being betrayed by his ex-fiancée, he felt a sudden, unfamiliar jolt of raw attraction twist in his gut.

Elena suddenly turned around, sensing a presence. When her eyes met Zachary’s cold, piercing glare, her breath caught. She instantly recognized him from the photos in the kitchen—the multi-billionaire CEO, her new boss.

"S-Sir..." Elena stammered, bowing her head immediately, her cheeks flushing a bright pink from nervousness. "Paumanhin po, hindi ko po alam na nandito kayo. Aalis na po ako—"

"Stay," Zachary commanded. His voice was incredibly deep, cold, and dominant, echoing through the silent library.

He walked toward her with slow, deliberate steps, like a predator tracking its prey. Elena’s heart hammered against her ribs as he stopped just a foot away from her. The scent of his expensive cologne, mixed with a hint of premium whiskey, completely overwhelmed her.

Zachary tilted his head, looking down at her trembling form. He noticed how her long eyelashes fluttered, and how her innocent eyes held a hint of fear—and something dangerously captivating.

"You're the new maid," Zachary stated, his jaw clenching as he tried to suppress the sudden urge to reach out and touch her smooth cheek.

"Opo, Sir. Ako po si Elena," she whispered, not daring to look him in the eye.

"Make sure you do your job quietly, Elena. I don't like loud people, and I don't like distractions," he said coldly, though his eyes remained locked on her lips.

"Opo, Sir Zachary. Makakaasa po kayo."

Zachary didn't say another word. He turned on his heel and walked toward his desk, but his mind was completely ruined for the rest of the day. As Elena quietly finished her work and hurried out of the room, Zachary’s gaze followed her swaying hips until she disappeared behind the doors.

He poured himself a glass of bourbon, his mind racing. She was just a maid—a simple, poor girl. But as Zachary stared at the empty space where she once stood, a dark, dangerous thought entered his mind. There was a unique, untamed allure in Elena's innocence, and for the first time in years, the cold CEO felt a desperate hunger to break it.

  • One Night with My Maid    CHAPTER 106 (THE FINAL CHAPTER) THE SOVEREIGN'S FOREVER

CHAPTER 106: The Sovereign’s ForeverThe golden hour of the Cagayan sunset painted the entire beach in a breathtaking canvas of deep orange, violet, and gold. The gentle whisper of the waves served as the perfect symphony to the sacred silence that had fallen over the small crowd. Hand in hand, Zachary and Elena stood before the altar. Elena’s eyes were still shining with tears of pure happiness, her hand safely anchored inside Zachary’s warm, steady grip. The priest smiled warmly at the couple, adjusting his book. "Zachary, Elena, you have exchanged your vows of love and fidelity. But before I officially declare you husband and wife in the eyes of God and of this community, Zachary, do you have any final words for your bride?"A soft murmur of anticipation rippled through the small group of guests. Nanay Rosa wiped her eyes with a lace handkerchief, while Sebastian stood tall at the side, a knowing, highly unusual smirk playing on his usually stoic face.Zachary too

  • One Night with My Maid    CHAPTER 105 THE ANCHOR OF MY SOUL

The warm breeze of the Cagayan coast swept over the altar, carrying with it the clean, sweet scent of the sea and the delicate fragrance of white orchids. Elena felt the soft sand beneath her satin shoes, a grounding reminder of the simple, peaceful life she had built over the last four years. But as she looked up into the deep, pitch-black eyes of the man holding her hand, she knew her true sanctuary was no longer a place. It was him.Standing before Zachary in her white bridal gown, her heart swelled with an emotion so profound it made her throat tight with tears. As the priest began the solemn ceremony, Elena looked at Zachary’s rugged, handsome face, and her own mind drifted back, retracing the long, winding path that had brought them to this altar. She remembered the terrified girl she used to be—a quiet, unassuming housemaid walking through the intimidating, cold corridors of his Manila mansion. Back then, Zachary Villareal had seemed like an unreachable god, a powerfu

  • One Night with My Maid    CHAPTER 104 THE SOVEREIGN'S VOW

Two months had passed since the night the fire of their love was fully reclaimed under the provincial stars. Today, the same pristine Cagayan coast that had served as Elena's sanctuary was transformed into a paradise of white orchids, delicate lace, and warm, golden sunlight. There were no flashing paparazzi cameras, no cold corporate partners, and no toxic high-society gossip. Only their closest family, the gentle, rhythmic rustle of the sea, and the promise of forever.Zachary stood at the end of the flower-strewn aisle, looking incredibly handsome in a tailored cream linen suit that perfectly complemented his rugged, sun-kissed features. Despite his usual unshakeable composure and the power he wielded in the business world, his heart was hammering violently against his ribs like an anxious boy's.Then, the soft melody of the violin began, and the rustic wooden gates swung open. And there she was. Elena. She looked breathtakingly beautiful in a simple, elegant off-

The mattress dipped under his immense weight as Zachary laid her down, following her instantly so that there was not a fraction of space between them. The four years of agonizing separation had built a towering dam of restraint, and tonight, beneath the golden glow of the bedside lamp, that dam completely shattered. He didn’t just want to make love to her; he needed to consume her, to brand every inch of her skin so deeply that the years they had lost would be entirely burned away. His large, rough hands made quick, desperate work of her thin cotton gown, pulling it over her head and tossing it into the shadows of the room. When she was completely bare before him, Zachary stopped. His broad chest heaved heavily, his dark, pitch-black eyes raking over her curves with a raw, starving hunger that made Elena shiver despite the warm coastal breeze filtering through the window."You are so damn beautiful," Zachary rasped, his voice vibrating with a dark, heavy reverence. He shed h

  • One Night with My Maid    CHAPTER 102 WHISPERS OF THE COAST

The heavy provincial night was cool, thick with the scent of wild jasmine and the rhythmic, therapeutic roar of the tide crashing against the sandy shore. In the master bedroom of the small, beautiful cottage Zachary had purchased just down the road from the restaurant, a single lamp cast a warm, golden glow across the dark wooden walls.Elena stood by the open window, her long hair blowing gently in the sea breeze. She wore a simple white cotton gown, her skin glowing softly in the twilight. Although the afternoon had been filled with laughter and the joyful chatter of her family, the quiet of the night brought a different kind of intensity. For four years, she had slept alone, guarding her heart against a love she thought she had forfeited forever. Now, the man who owned that heart was only a few feet away.Zachary emerged from the adjacent bathroom, a dark towel slung low around his neck. He wore only a pair of loose gray linen trousers, his broad chest and heavily muscle

  • One Night with My Maid    CHAPTER 101 THE SOVEREIGN'S SANCTUARY

The warmth of the afternoon sun cast long, lazy shadows across the wooden floorboards of the restaurant. The lunch rush had long ended, and for the first time in four years, the small provincial diner was completely closed to the public. Outside, a simple, hand-painted sign reading “Closed for a Private Family Event” hung from the bamboo door frame, gently swaying in the refreshing breeze coming off the Cagayan coast.Inside, the atmosphere was thick with a profound, healing quiet. Zachary sat at a rustic narra wood table, his large frame completely dominating the modest space, yet he looked entirely at peace. His sleeve cuffs were rolled up, exposing his strong, tanned forearms as he held a small cup of local barako coffee.Across from him sat Elena, her hand resting comfortably inside his. The gold ring on her finger caught the shifting sunlight, a brilliant symbol of a promise that had survived the ultimate test of time and distance."Hindi pa rin ako makapaniwala na

The grand mahogany doors of the Villareal Mansion slammed open past midnight, and Zachary stumbled into the foyer, completely soaked from the violent thunderstorm outside. His jacket was gone, his tie was ripped open, and his face was flushed with corporate rage and heavy whiskey. "Sir Zachary..."

The question hung heavily in the dim, suffocating air of the master bedroom. Zachary’s grip on the edge of the desk remained tight, his massive frame looming over Elena like a dark shadow.
