What are you doing here?” Jaden asked, closing the distance between us.

I stood to my feet, brushing dust away from my dress. “We should be asking you that,” I spat, slightly angry.

“I brought her here,” Drake explained.

“I was so worried after you left the hospital, I thought you would harm yourself or something,” I snapped with worry and anger.

“You shouldn't have come here. Is asking for some time alone too much?” He questioned, his voice firm but tinged with sadness.

My heart dropped. “Really? You made me worry so much and this is what I get?” I shot back, my words dripping with hurt and anger.

Jaden brushed his hair with his fingers in frustration, he was looking so rough in just a few hours. He was in his worst state and I couldn't get more displeased because he didn't acknowledge my efforts.

I watched him crouched by the tomb, gathering stones that were used to cover the surface of the tomb then arranging them.
