Chapter XIII: Differences
After our trip to Bvlgari, we went to Cartier. As soon as we walked inside the store Dwight was attended by one of their people. The employee was a woman in her mid-20s. Their uniform hugs her in the right places. Requirement ba pag sales agent ka ng luxury brand ang pagiging sexy at enticing? Does a pretty sales agent equal high sales ba?
"Good afternoon, Sir. How may I help you?" tanong ng attendant sa tonong nag papatas ng kilay ko. Is this their strategy? Mag sasalita na sana ako pero naunahan ako ni Dwight.
"Ah yes. My girlfriend and I are looking for some jewelry. Any recommendations?" Bumagsak ang mukha nung babae. She glanced at me and barred her teeth. I heard her take a deep breath before speaking again.
"This way." She walked in front of us with hips dramatically swaying. Pakiramdam ko tuloy mangangalas sya. I looked at Dwight who's waiting for me.

I thought I will be sleeping throughout the flight but I was wrong. Gising na gising ako habang nasa himpapawid kami. Hindi ko kayang matulog. Before we get to the venue, an argument arises. Dad called two of his drivers to drive for us to the venue but I told him that we will take the Ford Ranger since I will be returning it. "You should have told me earlier. I need to make some calls to get another driver," he said furiously. Hindi na ako umimik pa dahil ayoko nang palalain ang sitwasyon. "Don't worry. It is the next day yet I’m still struck by what Dave said. Bakit parang kilalang-kila nya ako? Parang mas kilala nya pa nga ako kaysa sa sarili ko. The next day I decided not to join Dad with his agenda. I was thankful that I was knocked out from yesterday’s trip because if I was not, I’ll be up all night thinking. I was shocked by the fact that Coach Sandy really wanted to talk about Dwight. He's now sipping his espresso. On the other hand, Kuya Jerome arrived. He quickly went to me.
