4.I have done what I had promised to do. Don’t you dare to leave company.

"You need to visit consulate to get your business visa stamped by Friday.You are flying there in next week.On-boarding team will prepare your temporary accommodation, Air tickets etc.Don't forget to submit your current laptop at IT help Desk.You will be provisioned with another laptop from client after you reach Client office.Also, Collect sufficient currency from Forex office.Global travel team will brief you on other details and instructions. I have meeting coming up. Do you have any questions for me?"

" No Mark, I am good. I will reach out to you if I need anything ."

Christine was in daze.Somehow, She managed to find her cubicle and switched on her desktop.Mark's words seems to have cast spell on her mind.Her mind was only thinking about On site trip and nothing else.

Sandra found out that Christine has returned to her workstation.Her Cubicle was next to Christine's.She dragged her chair to Christine's Cubicle. 

"What Mark wanted to discuss with you, Christine?" Sandra asked this question to Christine twice but there was no response from Christine.She seemed to be still in daze.Sandra pinched her hand.

"Ouch, What are you doing, Sandra? It hurts."

"It was not my intention to pinch you but you were totally clueless about me talking with you."

"Mark was talking about on site role.He has finalised my name for one of the role.I need to report to Client office by next Friday."

Christine sighs and explains to Sandra.

"This is still confidential so don't mention this to anyone just yet. I am not ready for this opportunity and still thinking about how to reject this offer.You know how many people in our team are interested in this kind of opportunities.Nothing is finalised so I do not wish to engage in fights with people here. Even if I tell them that I am not interested then also they wont believe me."

"Don't worry. I will keep my mouth Shut."

Sandra promised her that she won't be a blabbermouth.She will keep this news as secret between two.

"Christine, I am your best friend. I know your difficulties.You do not want to stay away from your family. If you had a choice,you would not have rented a place in city and would have preferred travelling from your suburban home. But, it's really far away.You can't be travelling 4-5 hrs daily in traffic or in locals.It will be too hectic.You are still visiting aunty and uncle almost on every weekend.Only exception is on the weekends when we are working."

" I know they are not young anymore. You want to get married to a guy of their choice. He has to be from this city. So that, you can regularly visit your parents home.Now, your parents are in good health by god's grace. They can take care of themselves.However, You need to explore world.You will have some restrictions when you will get married.You need to consider your parents, husband and in laws opinion before you take any decision.Why don't you think about yourself just once? Think about the work experience that you will get by working along side our seniors and clients at onshore.That kind of knowledge and work experience, you won't get even after working for 5 years at offshore. You will be working on key assignments, will be part of team who will take critical decisions in war room resolving production issues."

"Can you please think about this thoroughly?Frankly speaking, I am very happy for you.I want you to go there and make your personal growth.Have you ever thought about the person who is junior to you in this project going to on site? Do you want to  work under such person ? You can always come back after your visa is expired and can find yourself job in MNC. Then, you resign from this company.Don't you think that your market value will be increased when you return from on-site?"

"Alright, let's discuss on this topic in our lunch break.Sean is assigning work for active Iteration. Let's go and check with him on our assignments."

——Meantime, In Mark's office——

Mark unlocked his phone and texted to unknown foreign number-

" I have done what I had promised to do.Don't you dare to leave Company."

"As long as she comes here, I will do whatever you say." He got quick reply from other side.

Unknowingly, Marks lips turned upwards. He admired this guy's perseverance.However, 

That lady in his team is quite stubborn as well.She must be still thinking about refusing this role.He can't let that happen.
