"I will wear this dress on our wedding day. And you will wear this one, don't they look cute together? I'm sure we both will be looking so beautiful on the special day."

A 26 years old woman seated on the fine wooden chair in Oorgan cafe frustratedly ran her slender fingers through her cherry red hair as the handsome man seated in her opposite uttered not even a single word.

The woman let out a sigh and blurted out more cheerfully this time, "Should we set the wedding this month or maybe at the end of next month? That way we will have more time to prepare for our... Wedding."

Again the tall man built like a Greek God said nothing except scrolling through his phone. Since he arrived, his concentration was only on his phone as if the woman in front of him didn't even exist.

This time she really lost it.

"Mr Hudson, are you even listening to me? It's only me who's talki..."

"Let's break up."

"Wha-what?"

Knowing that it was to happen sooner or later she still hoped he would treat her different than those girls he dated previously but...

The woman kept staring at him in sheer disbelief, trying to find any kind of emotions she could find in his eyes but sadly she found none. He looked as aloof as always so she was sure that he was not joking but he really meant it.

As he showed no sign of remorse, the woman grabbed the glass of water tightly while gritting her teeth. "You must be taking my test, right? We have been dating for quite long, everyone knows that we're getting married soon. You can't just..."

"Two weeks if you can't count. And... it was you who spread those fake rumours about the wedding. Did you think I would not see through your plan?" As the man stared at her coldly, she felt a chill run down her spine.

"You... you can't do this to me. No plea..." She tried holding his hand but she stepped back in fear the moment he gave her a cold-eyed stare. His dagger like gaze could make anyone shiver in terror.

Being the wealthiest and the most powerful name in the city, nobody dared mess with the Hudson's.

Given the man's stiffness, she knew nothing was to change. Conall Hudson whom she tried so hard to get into a relationship with was now gone...

Suddenly she threw the water on his suit as she uttered angrily, "I had enough. You are such an @sshole!"

With a stony face when the man stood up, the woman asked furiously, "Where do you think are you going?"

"You can't be thinking that I would pay for what you ate or are you?" Saying so the tall man headed towards the exit. The woman felt ashamed as she noticed how those people present in the cafe were looking at her, she clenched her fists.

Exactly those people used to cheer for her in the past just because she was rumoured to become young Mrs. Hudson. She was respected and treated like a queen but as soon as his hand was taken off her head, she was like a homeless woman.

Collecting her things as the woman was proceeding to leave the place, suddenly something caught her attention that made her pause in her track. With utter shock she watched the tall man to hug another man in the daylight.

'He doesn't ever let anyone especially women touch him yet he is now in another man's embrace. Is he perhaps...'

She quickly took her phone and made a call.

"Old Lady Zoe, your grandson likes men. He is a gay."

"What???"

Thud!

The sound of hitting the sand bag one more time echoed in the spacious room that was filled with gym equipment.

Ring!

"Iri, I've sent you the invitation card. You are coming to the party tonight, right?" The cheerful female voice from the other side of the call asked so curiously.

"What party? Why didn't I know about it beforehand?" The woman hitting the sandbag wiped off her sweats with the towel.

"Huh? I told you about it last night. You were probably so into work that you missed it."

"Maria, you know I don't have time for this. Far more, what will I do going to the parties? It's your night so you should en..." Before the woman could speak anymore, the girl named Maria interrupted her, "Yeah yeah. All your excuses. I don't know, you are going with me there tonight and it's final."

"Waittt... Hello? He... Oh, she hung up."

Maria Evans, a renowned fashion designer in the fashion industry. 22 years old yet she sometimes acted more childish. Times passed by and Irene Miller didn't know when did they become best friends from enemies. It was a long story.

"What's wrong? Luxury."

Seeing her secretary, Luxury Martin running to her in a hurry, Irene got worried as well.

"Miss Miller, Mr. Solveig is going to attend tonight's party. The one you were invited to by your friend." Luxury reported.

"What?"

"Yeah, I just checked the guest list. His name is there as well. What are we going to do now?"

Irene thought for a moment. "We have been trying to make an appointment with him for weeks but he always rejected. If we can meet him tonight then... Luxury."

"Yes?"

In the evening

Seated in the car Irene peeked at the outside nervously. The view outside looked so marvelous and magnificent. Rumours had it that many celebrities and renowned businessmen were coming at the party tonight, that ordinary people wouldn't even get a chance to put their feet at the carpet.

"Miss Miller, it's time to go." As Luxury reminded her, Irene took a deep breath.

"Let's go."

The moment the car door opened, everyone's gazes fixated on Irene. To attend such a party that screamed nothing but people's status in the society, Irene was indeed not prepared.

The reporters quickly ran to her. In a long dusty blue marmaid sleeveless prom, the beautiful stilleto and make-up all done by the professionals, she looked breathtakingly gorgeous.

The dress was a souvenir from her best friend, Maria.

As everyone ran to her, she confidently put her feet outside the car and held her secretary's hand firmly.

"It's time to get into the role."

After finally getting away from the reporters, Irene could be comfortable at some corner in the party. Thankfully she already talked with the businessman for whom she was here and everything turned out well.

Luxury went to take a call so she was alone, enjoying the drink in her hand.

"That's Mr. Hudson. Look who he came here with. What a beauty! But didn't he break up with his girlfriend this afternoon? Who is he with now? Wait, she is... Oh, my god. Is she his new girlfriend? They look so hot together. So perfect."

Irene heard the gossips that came from the crowd. For a moment she got curious. Everyone was busy to look at the couple that just arrived in the party.

For a split second Irene tried to see the said couple but then she gave up. She was focused on her drink, she didn't want to get herself into too much gossips.

"Luxury said she was taking a call. Why she's not back yet.. And where is Maria? She said she'd be late... Oh, she is there." Upon noticing Maria amidst the crowd as she proceeded towards the crowd to go to her suddenly the unexpected happened.

Irene collided with someone, unable to keep the balance she did what seemed right to her in that situation. She grabbed the collar of the man who instead of helping her kept his hand in his pocket.

"Look at that. Who that daring woman is? She grabbed the Greek God' s collar. Omg! What a scene to watch! She is dead for sure. She must have lost her brain."

Hearing the chaos Irene looked at the man just to be shocked. In front of her eyes was standing the handsomest and the most powerful man in the city, Conall Hudson.

Conall glared at her as if he would stab her and suck her soul, so deadly dangerous. All the women were giving Irene the look of jealousy and disgust.

But it was his face that got her widening her eyes in astonishment.

"Do you walk with your eyes in your head?" Conall asked arrogantly, sounding annoyed.

'He doesn't remember me?'

"How long are you going to hold it? Or do you want me to cut your filthy hand?"

"What?!"

Angrily, he grabbed her wrist while giving her a death glare. "So annoying!" And he just walked away, pushing her aside.

Irene couldn't help as those vague memories that she worked so hard on forgetting was now knocking at her door. Everything felt like yesterday, it was making her feel sickening all of a sudden.

'How come he is here?' She stared at him from the distance when she saw him with another woman and they were even smiling so lovingly.

"Miss Miller. What's wrong?" Luxury's worried voice pulled Irene out of her imagination.

"No-nothing."

"You don't look good. Are you really ok? Should we just go..."

Irene bit her lips, she was literally trembling. She felt like vomitting, screaming in her head and breaking everything apart.

Clenching her fists and trying to keep calm, she stared calmly at Conall, "Luxury, there's something I need you to do."

"What is it?"
