The following day

★★★

The next morning, Julia was in severe pain throughout her body. Rubbing her raw eyes, she moaned. She suddenly sensed that someone else was napping next to her, and when she turned her head to the other side, she indeed saw a man who had his back on her side. Julia jumped in fright, covering her mouth with the back of her hand.

She was conscious of her nakedness beneath the sheet. Knowing what she had done to her, she began to cry. She was scared of the outside world and of facing Timothy, the guy she loved.

She shook her head, "No, no, I can't." And made up her mind to never return to this city again.

She got down, wiped her eyes, and picked up the gown off the ground. She stepped out of the room after putting it on.

In the late afternoon, someone pushed in the door, disturbing the man's sleep.

He said, "Stay out," since he believed the girl was still lying next to him, but this was all his imagination because the girl had already left. But on his shouting; the individuals who were going to reenter the room closed the door in terror.

The man looked at his vacant side, where the red dot was visible but the girl from last night was not there.

He didn't want to make a scene, but he couldn't help but curse the fact that she was a virgin and he didn't respect it.

He later ordered clothing for himself and entered the bathroom to begin having a bath. His vision was hazy, and he couldn't tell what color the woman's hair was. Her touch and voice, though, were so gentle that he felt a tug in his heart, remembering it.

"We didn't discover any footage, boss. Someone tampered with it, I believe. There was also a wedding here yesterday, and a great scandal occurred," the assistant paused as he gulped his saliva before continuing.

"I've learned that the bride has eloped with someone else," the assistant said fearfully, her gaze fixed on the devil, who was puffing on his cigarette.

“How will this information benefit me? I want to know," the man said in a raspy voice that made them shiver.

"We apologize.” The bodyguards and the assistant lowered their heads, saying, "We could not gather any information.”

“If you have to look for her in the underworld, carry on your investigation,” his icy voice resounded in the valley of empty ribcages, "Don't stop your leg or I'll stop your breath.”

If the boss's Grandfather had not been the one to defraud them last night, his boss would not have been discovered in this state.

However, what transpired could not be undone.

In order to catch another dawn, they sprinted like hares while hiding their tails.

For an amount of time that Julia couldn't recall, she sobbed in her room. Her entire being felt as though it had been crushed beneath someone's feet. She was no longer fit to reside in this home anymore.

“No. I need to go now. It's best if nobody knows I'm here.”

Julia brushed away her tears and mumbled, "After today, no one will know I'm still alive. She behaved herself like a piece of filth.

She grabbed the necessities and put them, along with her passport, in the suitcase. She wandered her eyes around the room as she was about to leave when someone pried open the door.

“My dear sister... Where are you going? Why didn't you show up at your wedding venue? You let down Timothy," Stacy, her step-sister, stated. She made her way to her with a winning smile on her face.

Stacy plopped her butt down on an adjacent seat after moving there. “How did your night go? she asked as she crossed to the other person. Has it been fun for you?” Stacy asked in a casual tone.

Julia was about to cry, holding her sister. But her heart shook dangerously when Stacy's comments abruptly caused the ground to collapse beneath her feet.

"What do you mean?" Julia asked hoarsely as her mind replayed Stacy's words.

“Mom," Stacy called out to her mother who seemed to be in a happy mood, came in, and said, "You bring shame to our family. Why didn't you die outside? If it were me, I would drink poison.”

Julia listened to her stepmother, whom she adored. She had never done so much for her father as she had for her stepmother. All of her mother's treasured ornaments were gladly given to her stepmother.

“Mother,” In anguish, her words flowed out of her mouth. It was tough to manage the shock because it had never been so easy to accept the family's treachery.

"Do not address me as your mother." I don't want to hear the word "mother" coming out of your whore's mouth. It's not so difficult to believe that your mother's blood runs through your veins," her stepmother added, humiliating her and her mother, who had long ago passed away.

"You!!" Julia couldn't control her body and lunged for her stepmother to beat her, but Stacy stood between them.

"Don't even try to touch my mother. One call and the media will be here in seconds," Stacy threatened, grabbing her phone from her bag.

"Isn't it all planned by the two of you? You two did this on purpose. But why?" Julia gritted her teeth and yelled. Her angry eyes betrayed her rage at being used by them when she called them her family.

“Yes, since I adore Timothy and my mother adores my father's money!! Mother overheard father discussing with a lawyer a few days earlier that half of the property had been transferred into your name. He is cruel and he cares more about you. But we can't let the property go like this, it's not fair," Stacy replied, winking with one eye as her stepmother chuckled behind her.

“I'll not let you two be spared. I will talk to my father,” Julia roared, pointing her finger at them. She couldn't let them succeed with their vile minds.

“Haha! You fool. We have a video of you banging with a guy on your wedding day. Do you want to see it?" Stacy exclaimed as her laughter erupted like a gelatinous wave, thrashing a woman's heart to the shore who had been engulfed by the darkness.
