Dominik laughed and held his beer up. The story that the captain was telling had a happy ending, and, even if it ended with a small threat, it gave him hope that at some point he might successfully find his pretty girl.
Captain Nankor could easily see how Dom’s eyes shone brightly, and wondered how his mood had been changing so much since they left Burgas. There was no way in which he could be communicating with her between ports, so how was he getting suddenly depressed or incredibly happy because of his lady?
It seemed to occur between his sleep periods too.
