Chapter 3 I Don't Want a Stranger's Child Either

In the bathroom, Elizabeth Liang looked at herself in the mirror. She almost couldn't recognize herself.

Her neck and body were covered in the aftermath of lovemaking, these bruises and marks were proof of how crazy last night was.

If they were from Theodore Chao, it would've been fine. They were going to get married sooner or later. But, this was all from a strange man she had never even met before!

Elizabeth thought of Theodore, and she couldn't hold in her sad and regretful tears anymore.

Sure, there are many unmarried couples who live together in today's world, but she just couldn't accept that she gave her the first time so carelessly to a stranger.

How was she supposed to face Theodore?

She must ask the man outside why he is in her room!

When Elizabeth walked out of the bathroom, she saw that the man had already put on his clothes.

He was sitting on the single-person sofa in the room dressed in a classy black handmade and order-made suit, with his legs crossed and his hands comfortably resting on the armrest. He looked incredibly elegant and refined. He was looking out of the window, thinking, with a perfect side profile.

Hearing movement, he turned his head, looked over her silently, and said flatly, "What's your name?"

She initially wanted to ask him why he was here, but he opened his mouth first to her surprise, so she was slow to react. "What?"

He took out a cigarette from his case, lowered his head to light it, and inhaled deeply. "Tell me, who asked you to come?"

He was not buying it. Wasn't he just drunk? How could a strange woman appear in his room?

"What?"

"Did Startlight's men send you here for that project, or did she feel bad about just leaving like that yesterday, so she paid money to do this as a gift?"

It took a while for Elizabeth to finally understand what he meant. Her expression, which was already bad, now looked even worse.

"What the hell are you saying?!" Elizabeth clenched her fists and looked at the man in front of her angrily. "Why are you in my room? If you thought you could freely enter my room, well, I am free to sue you!"

Her room?

Upon hearing this, James Lu frowned and looked around at the furniture in the room. He couldn't help but sneer. "Your room? Shouldn't I be asking you this question?"

Hearing his query, Elizabeth was dumb-founded. "Isn't this Room 2703?"

He shook his head gently.

"Then where is this?"

"2708!" In fact, this room was a presidential suite given to him as a birthday present from Benjamin Cheng when he was 27 years old. The "8" was meant to represent his birthday in August. In other words, this room was exclusively his in the Grand Dynasty Hotel, and is used only by him all year round.

Hearing this, Elizabeth still couldn't believe it. She looked around and found a room card on the floor along with her bag at the door. She hurried to pick it up and realized that he was right.

On the room card, she saw four gilded numbers - 2703.

James looked at the shaking little woman holding the room card and completely gave up the idea that she was given to him by someone else. But this only made it worse.

If she was from Startlight or that woman, he could ignore this. He glanced at the bedsheets, thought for a moment, took out his checkbook and pen, then wrote something on it.

Even though he was drunk, it's true that he took away her first time.

James ripped off the check

He stood up, walked over, and handed her the signed check. "I'm sorry... about last night, take this."

Elizabeth looked at the cheque in front of her and took it with a blank expression. She was dazzled by the number on it.

"James Lu?" Looking at the check, she read out his name.

He nodded.

"What does this mean?"

Losing her virginity to him was already bad enough, isn't this check insulting her by implying that she's selling her body?

He frowned and said, "It's compensation for buying a plan B."

It was her first time, and she looks young. If she becomes pregnant...

She naturally understood what he meant.

"Compensation?" She smiled, full of sarcasm.

Could she really buy back what she had lost?

"We are both adults, aren't we? I can't think of anything else to give you other than money. After all, I can't marry you just because...you know? It's not realistic, is it?"

Her face turned pale. She tore the check into pieces in front of his face. "Mr. Lu, isn't two million a bit too much for a plan B? Don't worry, I do have enough money to buy a pill, so you won't have to splurge. After all, I don't want a stranger's child either!"
