As they walked together downstairs Aiden pointed out the different floors and what were on them, as a basic tour to start. Then they went down the hall off the stairs on the main floor, towards a lot of talking. They walked into a large room which looked like it could be a ball room but was currently set up much like a large dinning room with tables spread out around the room and along the back wall was a counter that was being replenished with food. “This is the dinning hall. Most of the unmated pack members eat their meals here. We have a full time staff just for cooking the meals. I’ll have to introduce you to the head chef later. I think the two of you will hit it off great.” Aiden explained as they walked in. Slowly as more people saw Aiden the room got quieter and quieter they were all watching Aiden guiding Alys through the dinning room. They walked to the head of the room where a larger table was set a little off from the rest. It looked like the head table at a wedding. Then
Alys walked into the suite and a smile lit up her face when she saw Aiden. He couldn’t help the big smile that spread across his own face on seeing her. She was glowing. “Did you have fun with Sara today?” He got up and walked over to her slipping his arm around her waist and pulling her in for a kiss. Her hands came up to his chest as she gripped his shirt kissing him back ever so sweetly. “I had a great day. I don’t know if you will be able to top it with this date. We even had sushi.” She tapped a finger on her lip as if thinking, he growled and nipped at her finger then leaned in to kiss her again. “Challenge accepted.” He murmured against her lips. “You should go get changed. And definitely put on that lacy number you sent me a picture of earlier.” Alys laughed lightly at his comment and went to bring her things into the bedroom. There was a quiet knock at the door and Aiden went to answer it. It was the rest of her shopping. “Thank you.” Aiden smiled and nodded at the pack
Instead of getting in his Jeep he continued to walk down the street with her, hand in hand. The weather was perfect for this early spring evening, a gentle breeze wound its way through the city streets as the street lights were slowly turning on as the sun set in the distance. They walked for a couple blocks, lightly chatting together before entering another old looking building. It was a beautiful book store. It had a small coffee shop in the front corner and three floors of books on old wooden bookshelves that reached floor to ceiling, there were even little nooks and crannies that had comfortable chairs and side tables so people could sit and go through the books. It had used and new books, used books being on the top floor. “I know how much you like books and coffee so I thought you would like to come here. It used to be the old city library, but they converted it to a store. It’s a unique building with some great coffee.” Aiden told her, as they waited in line for their coffee.
Alys woke once again entwined with Aiden. Her head was tucked into the crook of his arm and she was sprawled across him, tucked cozily into the blankets. She inhaled deeply taking in his delicious cinnamon scent. “Mmmm.” Aiden moaned above her, then he kissed the top of her head and wrapped his arms around her more tightly. “I love waking up wrapped in you, and your scent.” He murmured into her hair. “Me too.” Alys sighed happily nuzzling his side rubbing the tip of her nose against him. He tensed up and chuckled. “Hey, that tickles.” He laughed as she did it again. “But you smell so good. I can’t help it.” Alys told him before kissing the same spot she had nuzzled. His laughs turned to a groan and she felt him grow hard against her leg which had been over top of him. She continued to gently kiss the area until she reached his n**ple then she playfully nipped it. He tightened his arms around her again and then rolled over so she was on her back and he was leaning over top of her p
Shortly after she was changed and ready again. Thankfully Alys had bought a couple of blouses, figuring she would need them. She ran back downstairs and saw Lilly sitting on a bench just outside of the dining hall. “There we are, Sara told me you had a little run in with Brandi. Don’t worry about her. She’s a lovely girl but probably a bit sad that Aiden is taken now. She always did have a little crush on him.” Lilly smiled and stood up gesturing for Alys to follow her. Alys wanted to say she believed it was more then a crush and ask her if what Brandi had said was true, but she decided to let it be. For now. Lilly started off with a tour of the grounds. They walked outside and she explained how the housing worked and the different ranks in the pack. They went to the Omega housing first, which was a small hotel like building just off the main house. It had enough room to house around 50 unmated omegas at a time. Most of them worked in the house or on the grounds, and some for the d
The last two days went in much the same manner. Aiden and Alys would wake up and stay in bed for a bit, before getting ready to go to breakfast together. Alys liked to meet the pack members who ate in the dinning hall in the mornings, and slowly more and more were trickling in to meet her as well. After breakfast Aiden would either work in his office or he would have to go into the city to their main office, and Alys would go to her own office to continue her Luna studies. She had finally finished reading the files on the packs they had an alliance with and those they were on good terms with. Lilly would pop in throughout the day, making sure Alys was doing ok and to see if she had any questions. Alys started on their pack history this morning, she was amazed by how much there was to learn still, she felt like she would be reading for months. She looked at the time and saw she only had an hour until she met her mom for lunch. Today her mom was moving into one of the cottages in the v
Aiden got stuck at work a little later then usual, he had been getting ready to leave the office when he received a strange phone call. They were asking about buying Alys’s Cafe and kept him on the phone for a good half hour past when he had wanted to leave. In the end they changed their mind. The call was not sitting well with him. Why would they ask so many questions, just to change their minds. Oh well. He thought as he got in his Jeep to drive home. He was just happy he would be getting home to Alys soon. He wondered what delicious meal she had come up with for dinner tonight. He pulled out his phone sending her a text that he was on his way.He had only been driving for a few minutes when he got a link from Thomas.‘Alpha, I got a link from a warrior saying he had caught the scent of a rogue. I personally scouted the area he was patrolling, but scented nothing out of the ordinary.’ He reported. ‘Ok, double check the area again and make sure to check for visible signs as well. If
Aiden paced his office. Ever since realizing Alys’s letter was a fake, things were moving quickly and quietly, but it still didn’t feel fast enough. Aiden was feeling restless and his wolf wasn’t helping, he kept growling under his breath. They didn’t want anyone to know that they knew Alys was taken, since this was obviously an inside job and they didn’t want to lose the element of surprise. Thomas was sent out to see if he could find any other missing pack members. John was still missing, and Aiden was waiting for Brandi to show up to his office. Since she was supposed to be his girlfriend they had a good reason to question her. Jax was lounging on the couch across from his desk and Sara was out sniffing around the pack in her own way. She always kept up on the pack gossip and they often used it to keep the pack in check. More often then not, they could have a problem resolved before it ever became an actual problem. “Will you stop growling? You are giving me a headache. You will a
