The choices are only two!

"With... with installment payments. Yes! I will pay for the damages in installments," Lyyana said spontaneously.

Petra scoffed as he walked towards Garret's room window. "I'm not sure you can afford it. It's more expensive than you can imagine." Petra paused, glancing momentarily at Lyyana's face. "It's 12 billion." Lyyana swallowed hard, her knees suddenly weak, and she almost fell if she hadn't held onto Garret's wardrobe next to her.

"Are you sure you want to pay in installments?" Petra continued approaching Lyyana.

Lyyana couldn't think clearly; she couldn't imagine how much money Petra mentioned earlier. Let alone own it, Lyyana had never seen such an amount. "So, what now?"

Lyyana took a deep breath, regaining her composure. "I apologize, sir. I may not have as much money as you mentioned. But, I will still try to settle it. Even if it takes some time."

"How long do you need to replace it?" Petra asked, noticing the confusion and restlessness on Lyyana's face.

"Maybe..."

"Forever," Petra smiled cynically, raising one eyebrow. His thin lips, adorned with thin hair around them, briefly twitched, then shrugged indifferently. "I can ease it, but there are conditions you must fulfill."

Lyyana was stunned, she had suspected that the wealthy man in front of her had ulterior motives. "Conditions?" Lyyana tried to draw the man out.

"I will explain after breakfast." After saying that, Petra walked past Lyyana, leaving her to her own thoughts.

Lyyana held her breath as Petra walked right by her side. Lyyana glanced with the corner of her eye, feeling his sharp gaze and dominating aura pierce through her. The man continued to walk straight towards the bedroom door. Shortly after, Lyyana heard the sound of the door closing, and she sighed, which she had held since earlier.

"Fool! Fool! Fool! How could I fall into the same hole twice!" Lyyana muttered, hitting her head. "Why didn't I just run away earlier!"

Lyyana locked herself in her room, even missing breakfast. Although several of Petra's staff invited her to leave the room, Lyyana curled up on the carpet, leaning against the bed.

The woman kept glancing at the wall clock, hoping time would stop for a moment so she wouldn't have to meet Petra so soon. Unfortunately, Lady Luck was not on her side when she was lost in thought; her room door opened, revealing Petra's sturdy figure standing at the bedroom threshold.

Lyyana could protest Petra's attitude, but she was self-aware of where she was. The man stared directly at Lyyana, making her unable to avoid or evade him.

She prepared to get up and gather her courage. "Sir, I apologize sincerely for breaking your flower vase. I promise to replace it soon, but please don't—"

Lyyana's words hung in the air as Petra closed the distance between them. Lyyana's breath caught; it felt like she was losing her oxygen supply, but the next moment, Lyyana furrowed her brows in confusion. Petra extended his hand, handing her a piece of paper. Lyyana hesitantly took the letter, her mind thinking of the negative things Petra might do to her. "Read and understand it," Petra then walked towards one of the chairs in the room.

Lyyana took the paper Petra handed her, her eyes reading the lines of neatly typed text on the stamped paper. Silence filled the 4x5-meter room; Lyyana was busy reading every word on the stamped piece of paper.

After finishing reading, Lyyana looked up at Petra for a few seconds, then lowered her head again and stepped back. "Sir, I'm sorry, is this not a mistake?" Lyyana asked cautiously.

"Do you mean I have to live here with you and Garret? I am also not allowed to leave the house? And... I have to fix your relationship with Garret?" Lyyana explained, looking at Petra and the paper alternately.

"Sorry, sir, you may be a wealthy person, but you cannot restrict me in such a way. Besides... your relationship with Garret is not my business. I am not obligated to—"

"In that case, I will contact a lawyer to report attempted theft and asset damage," Petra interrupted, making Lyyana widen her eyes.

"How can that be?"

Petra shrugged indifferently, then got up from his seat. Placing a pen on the bedside table and saying, "I'll give you until tonight."

Before Lyyana could answer Petra's statement, he had disappeared from behind Lyyana's room door. Lyyana slumped back, taking a deep breath. Lyyana was on the brink of confusion; if she accepted Petra's conditions, she would be confined to that house. However, if she chose to refuse, she would be confined to jail.

Throughout the day, Lyyana spent her time thinking about the best choice for her. The Maghrib call to prayer echoed; Lyyana immediately performed her duty, praying earnestly and praying for strength. "Hopefully, this is the best choice," she said, folding the prayer rug she wore.

Lyyana took a deep breath and exhaled slowly; she repeated her activities until the end of the bedroom door. Lyyana's slender fingers pressed the doorknob and pulled the tall door in front of her. As per Petra's words, he would be waiting in Garret's room to hear Lyyana's answer.

Lyyana's steps trod every step towards Garret's room. Before knocking, Lyyana took a deep breath again and exhaled slowly. Before Lyyana could knock, she already heard the baritone voice yelling from inside the room. "Come in!"

Her body tensed for a moment; she then pressed the knob and pushed the door leaf open completely. Lyyana stepped slowly; she approached Petra sitting on the edge of Garret's bed, observing Garret who was sleeping.

"So, what's your decision?"
