Thank you all for reading!
“Y-yes…” I said uncertain. “I haven’t seen your wolf but this is how I pictured him.” “Ivvy, that looks amazing!” Justina spoke up in awe. I almost forgot she was there. Wave was standing behind her with his arms folded over his chest as he looked at the wolf fountain. “Thanks!” I said with a smile. I was still waiting on Jet’s reaction. He still hadn’t spoke if he liked it or not and I can’t gage his emotions either. “Can you make the water spray out?” Wade asked. Looking at the fountain, I visualized the water spraying the lilac bush to water it. “How’s that?” “Can you pull the moisture from the air?” Jet asked. Looking uncertain at him, I was willing to try anyway. “I’ll try.” The breeze gently ran though my hair as I tried to reach out to it. Closing my eyes, I visualized the clouds. Mentally grabbing the water from them and from the lakes nearby and pulled them towards me. The wind picked up as I loved the feel of it blowing through my hair. “Uh, Ivvy?” I heard Justin
“I’ll see you at dinner.” “Ugh, fine!” I said as I cut the link on him this time. Jet was both amused and annoyed with me. Well, too bad because he couldn’t have flirted back and amused me! When I went into the bathroom, I avoided the mirror. Not sure why, exactly but the butterflies in my stomach didn’t help. After turning the shower on and getting naked, I stood in front of the mirror. Just look up. Not a big deal, right? I will rock any scar that will be given! “Just look up!” I whispered to myself. Slowly, I lifted my head up and looked at the girl in front of me. I didn’t recognize her at all. Her usually beautiful white hair was stained pink, bruising was visible under the bandage and even a little puffiness. Getting as lose to the mirror as I could, I took my bandages off. The cut nicked my eyelid but not terrible. There will be a gap in my eyebrow from now on and there will be a pretty noticeable change to my lip. The cut went over the edge of my nose on my nares so tha
“Woman…” Jet shook his head as he closed his eyes. “Let’s get my niece what you promised her. I’ll help you. Wade is already up there and it is supper time.” Jet held the door for me. As soon as the door opened, footsteps were heard running down the hall, away from us. I looked at Jet, concerned. “They heard everything?” Jet took off running. “STOP!” He commanded. I stayed in my place, unsure of what to do. It was only a few minutes later that Jet reappeared. “Not sure who that was. I didn’t smell any scent.” “Seriously?” I asked, suddenly feeling violated. “Yeah, come on.” Jet grabbed my arm and pulled me with him as we made our way to the kitchen. I felt exposed in the hallway. Jet was clearly annoyed as I stood by the door and watched him bang open the cabinet doors. Tossing me the marshmallows and graham crackers, he held on to the chocolate and hotdogs. Finally, he pulled out some metal sticks which I assume is what he wanted us to use. “Are we not going to lock the mans
Walking up the next morning to an empty bed was heartbreaking. As my hand felt the cold sheets, they also landed on a piece of paper. I had to look with just one eye since my other eye felt a little stiff this morning. A scab had formed over my eyelid. Ivory, I didn’t want to wake you up. I am going to be working in my office today. Come down when you are up and ready. - Jet I do have a few things I need to take care of so I might as well get up and start my day. It only took me half an hour to get ready. The weather was going to be beautiful today so I put on some olive green dressy loose shorts with a fitted black tank that tucked into them. Since there was still no power, I just pulled my hair into a side braid and paired the whole outfit with flat sandals. The earrings my parent’s gave me never really left my ears but I did put on a long necklace with a single opal stone shaped in a tower. I loved this necklace as people said it brought out my eyes. My eye finally opened up a
Carol stepped forward wearing a baggy t-shirt and shorts. “Alpha.” She said, bowing her head. “As most if not all of you are aware, I am found my Luna!” Cheer erupted across the crowd. “Ivory comes to us with hopes of meeting everyone and is eager to take on the role.” Jet took my hand and lifted it up as everyone cheered. There were many chants of luna! Luna! Luna! “Today, we are here to address the accused. Carol, you have continuously disrespected Ivory as your Luna. You have stated you will not respect her and will not obey her. You have continuously tried to steal me from her after I instructed you to stop. Last night was the final straw when you went to put your hands on her physically.” “Disgrace!” some yelled out. “Horrible!” “Pathetic!” Jet held up his hands for the crowd to quiet down. They did so instantly. The warriors I noticed didn’t speak, but their eyes were full of anger, directed at Carol. “I have warned you multiple times. Not only did you try to put your h
“There is a phone call for Luna Ivory.” The man stated. I felt the emotional shift in the room. The man was holding up a cell phone that had Bloomingdale’s logo on it. Walking over, I accepted the phone with shaking hands. “Hello?” “Good afternoon, Luna Ivory. I wanted to meet you myself but I am not available to be at that store today so I hope I am not interrupting you. My name is Angelina Tucker. I am the CEO of Bloomingdale and I would like to thank you for shopping with us. It has been a dream of mine to work with the werewolf community to design a line of clothing. I was wondering if you would be interested in meeting with me for a business proposition? I would love to come to the packhouse and sit down with Alpha Jet and yourself, if at all possible.” My mind was blown over this. A clothing line? For werewolves? “Hello, Miss Tucker. I think that would be a great idea. If I could please get your information, I will have someone reach out to you to schedule that meeting. I don
“What’s going on?” I asked nervously. “Something is going on with the vamolf. I had the doctors examine it. See if we can find a cure.” Jet stood up and tossed some cash on the table. I wasn’t fully finished but enough. Cleaning my mouth off, I stood up as well. Jet waited for me to be ready before leading me out. “Sir? Everything okay?” The hostess asked, looking really frazzled. “Yes, everything was perfect. I left enough money on the table to cover the bill and a tip. Please thank Amanda and the chef for us.” We didn’t wait for an answer as Jet gently pushed me out the door. Grabbing my hand, he leads me to his car. Not even missing a beat as he opened my door for me and closed it right as I sat down and then going around to the driver’s seat. “What is going on with the vamolf?” I asked as he started the car and pushed on the gas at the same time. My body slammed against the seat. Who taught them how to drive? “I guess he is changing. Normally, they have more of a wolf’s a
“Wake up, sleepyhead.” The covers flew off me, allowing the cold air to attack me. “Ugh, you are so annoying!” I groaned. “Hurry up. We are meeting Justina and Wade in our office before we train today.” That made me sit up. “Oh?” I asked. My nerves were a little high. “To discuss what happened last night with Wade. He is my beta and we need to be on the same page, so whatever his issues were, we need to deal with it.” Jet walked over and started putting on his tennis shoes. He was wearing gym sorts that stopped below his knee and nothing else… so yummy. “Focus, Ivory, get dressed.” He must have noticed my emotions. Damn him. Rolling my eyes, I just got up and went the closet. No reason to shower before I get sweaty. There was this cute black and pink sports bra and matching shorts that I decided to wear. My tennis shoes were all black, so it looked great. I didn’t even look in the mirror as I pulled my hair into a messy bun to keep it out of my face. “Ready?” Jet asked as he
