Natalie's face turned pale, and her body suddenly swayed, prompting her to steady herself against the white wall.

After a while, she asked in a low voice, "Is the surgery risky?"

The doctor nodded. "Yes, very risky. The doctors at this hospital can't perform the operation. If you wish to minimize the risk as much as possible, it's best to seek out Dr. Edmund Blackwell. But as far as I know, he hasn't performed any surgeries since he went into early retirement. Still, you can give him a try."

Natalie knew little about the medical field, so she immediately gave Bella a call to ask about Edmund. From Bella, she learned that he was a legend in the field, but when his wife fell seriously ill about five years ago, he resigned so he could devote all his attention to caring for her.
