The blue metallic sedan screeched infront of the office building. A man came out from the car and rushed into the building with urgency, not even bothering to take his bag out of it. On his way to his office, his employees greeted him morning but he was not paying them any heed. Rude! That was what they called him. Before, he was sure arrogant but rude? In the last few months, he had not talked to anyone nicely. He had become a walking ticking time bomb which could explode at any time and on anyone. Mr. Cain Hutton had became a rude, arrogant jerk. Standing infront of the mirror in her room with two dresses in her hands, she contemplated on which one she should wear for the party tonight. It was six o'clock in the evening now. Cali was in her room getting ready for the party that was about to commence in one hour. She was feeling more and more jittery as the time was coming nearer thinking that she would have to face her past tonight. Even Harold, who was her supposed present, was here now and would attend the party with her. Climbing up the stairs, she tried her best to keep her calm just for a little more while and when she reached the last stair to the second floor, she leaned onto the railing holding it tightly in her grip and released a breathe of relief which she was unaware of herself. Sitting inside her room while just scrolling through her phone, she got pretty bored so she decided to peek at the outside party a little bit to see if Cain was gone or not. She knew that he never liked such party before as well and would always leave after meeting and talking to some people. So, she was guessing that he must have left the party already.
