100 - Bloodbath

Lucy's POV

Above and below, al I could see was red. Flashes of white tore through the sky, followed by claps of thunder that pierced my ears. Everything was turning, twisting, and falling apart before my very eyes, and nothing I could do—not screaming, not crying, and definitely not running after the pieces—was going to help it.

In the midst of the chaos, I fell to my knees, out of power and the might required to keep on standing tall. It all made no sense. Why was this all happening?

“Lucy!” A very familiar voice called out to me. “Lucy, get up and run! Don't let them get to you!”

I turned around to see my father running towards me. There were gashes over his body, which were all bleeding. It had been so long since I had seen him. His salt and pepper hair, the deep blue of his eyes that took on a violet hue when he was agitated, and his tall, sturdy form that exuded so much power. He was an Alpha, after all, and all who saw him, could tell simply by looking at him.
