Chapter Forty Two - I don't want another chance!!!

I was sitting outside the house, preparing myself for going on because Lauren was home, her car was in the driveway. Great! Not! I need to get this over with. I got out and heading to the front door. Do I walk-in, or do I knock? I don’t even know. I decided to knock firstly, and if she doesn’t answer, then I will go in. I knocked a couple of times and then heard her coming to the door. She answered it in the skimpiest little dress she owned and her heels on. Her hair was all done, and her make up.

“I have come to get things,” I said.

“I don’t even get a hello, baby?” She purred, stepping in closer to me.

I am assuming she dressed up for my benefit.

“Hi, now can I get my things?” I said.

Lauren placed her hand on my chest and locked her eyes with mine.

I don't know how old this author was when she/he wrote this but there is not a man alive today that is going to walk out and give his ex his house. She didn't even worked and then for Jake to find out Lauren's boyfriend is staying there in the house he paid for. Nope this would never happen.
