"What nonsense are you talking about? The child is innocent" Hellen held Spacie's hand and persuaded, "Don't worry, I will definitely help you and blame Chris for treating you badly!"

Spacie stared blankly at the ceiling, tears were in her eyes. She felt hopeless and despairing.

Hellen and Spacie's deceased mother were very intimate friends, had a good relationship. Therefore, Hellen treated Spacie as her own daughter and was very nice to Spacie.

Hellen's eyes' were moist when she saw Spacie was lying on the bed sadly.

"Spacie, don't take what Chris said into your heart. You two grew up together. And he cherishes you, doesn't he?. He is very cold to others since he was a child, but he only smiles to you!"

When Spacie recalled what they had experienced, she regained the hope to their love.

She had stayed by Chris's side for so many years, and he wouldn't be so ruthless to her.

"I will do it immediately." Hellen carried her bag out.

A few minutes later after Hellen left, Spacie heard the patter of footsteps. A woman wearing high—heel shoes approached to Spacie's ward. This woman wasn't going to visit Spacie, but to come here with a bad intention.

Spacie tried to sit up and stared coldly at the door.

It was Sofia, Chris's new lover."Nice to see you again, Spacie." Sofia said and faked a smile to Spacie. She walked into the ward and closed the door. "Let me introduce myself first. I'm Sofia, Chris's … good friend."

Spacie sarcastically said, " Good friend? Huh, Good friend slept with my husband, like friends with benefits. You are so shameless!

"Lady Spacie is indeed sharp—tongued. "No wonder Chris told me that you made him feel… si…ck."

...She deliberately emphasized the word "sick", giving enough time to Spacie to recall on what had happened.

After that, Sofia She dragged a chair near Spacie's bed and sat down. Her clothes were luxurious and her makeup was exquisite. She looked down at the pale and weak woman on the bed.

"I don't have much time. So I say it briefly. Do you know why you miscarry last time?"

Spacie immediately felt nervous. She suddenly remembered that Hellen blamed Chris for wanting to abort this child again. "Abort this child again." However, she immediately shook her head in disbelief.

She thought that she aborted her first child spontaneously.

She was resting in bed when she suddenly had stomachache, and blood flowed out from her lower body . After arriving at hospital, doctors said it was a spontaneous abortion, and it was normal phenomenon that pregnant woman would miscarry for many reasons.

"The doctor told you it was a spontaneous abortion, right?" Sofia sneered and continued, "In fact, it wasn't spontaneous abortion. It's because Chris gave you abortifacients instead of progesterone."

"Impossible!" Spacie immediately denied, "You can't provoke our relationship."

Sofia smiled evilly, made Spacie felt scared.

"Then, Hellen will take you to do the abortion."

Your mother died early, father died of illness, younger brother died in an air crash, and most of your family members died earlier than you. Even the child in your womb can't survive. Sofia sighed for Juliet's miserableness and walked to the door of the ward.

The door to the ward gently closed. When the door closed, Spacie carefully thought about what Sofia said, was almost overwhelmed by despair.

No, it wasn't true! Sofia must lie to her!

"Spacie…" At this moment, Hellen returned. Her emotion was complicated. She felt guilty for it but was determined to abort this child."No, I won't abort my child!

" Spacie panicked and said, "Hellen, I don't want to abort my child, please …"

"Spacie, I'm sorry." Hellen said and suddenly went to the other side. Two nurses came in.........One of them said to Spacie, "Your child can't come to this world."
