Alexis's POV "I'm a very jealous person Mason, especially when it comes to you. If there's anything you want me to know, tell me now because I can't stand the thought of you being with another woman." I say after a bit. I was still in lap. He was still holding me but I needed to say this. I know I wasn't perfect, I had slept with his friend but I came clean about it. I don't want a relationship where we have things hidden from each other. "So please Mason, if you there's something I should know. Please tell me now." I added again. "Alexis you have nothing to worry about, I only ever want you." Mason. Says. "If things don't work out for us, I don't know if I can walk away when I need to," I confessed, the panic rising up in me. "We're past walking away, Alexis." A statement of fact, as if my fate were already sealed by his words. "I wasn't looking for you. But I still found you Alexis, there's no going back for us. You're mine as I am yours." With those words, I'm melting.

Alexis's POV After our short romance filled trip to Italy which was about 2 months ago, I went back to work in Geneva. Still focusing neurodegenerative diseases highlighting the need to better understand the regenerative capacity and many uses of stem cells in the field. One thing I can say absolutely is that I find my work and being in the fulfilling but I also haven't had a break from science and everything that has to do with it since I started college. So I kind of feel like this is the right time for me to let's say cool off a bit.Not completely leave my work but pull back a bit and relax. I have finished the third stage of my research here in Geneva now it's time for the medical trials which I don't have to be here for, I can receive updates from anywhere in the world and give out inputs from anywhere.Which is why I'm moving back to New York, the university I've been consulting for here in Geneva want me to stay, they are even thinking of giving a grant for the next project

Alexis's POVI spend the first two days in bed, in and out of sleep. I miss Mason every morning because he leaves for work while I’m asleep, I always feel his goodbye kiss though. We only managed to eat dinner together once which by the way I started yawning half way through. Alex's POV I just moved to New York City. After just completing my PHD. I know no where around this city. I haven't even settled in yet. I'm excited but also kind of stressed out and anxious. After graduating from MIT a year early I immediately completed my undergrad degree and went into a PHD program which then led me back home to California to work in CIS which is a research institute for biological engineering. I then got a call from NYSCF; the New York Stem Cell Foundation a month ago asking if I would like to join them and continue a stem cell treatment I had worked on my PHD programme.
