In the car, Shane's brows furrowed tightly. A heavy atmosphere loomed in the cabin, and even the driver dared not breathe freely. His fingers trembled lightly as they gripped the steering wheel.

Although Shane hadn't said a word, the driver could feel that he was definitely angry. What's worse, the culprit behind all this was carefree, intoxicated beyond recognition, only capable of silly laughter. Occasionally, she would smack her lips, seemingly still savoring the sweetness of the alcohol.

Shane stared at her side profile for a long time, unable to hold back the question buried in his heart: "Why did you come here to drink?"
