Ortensia couldn’t sit still anymore, the vibrator underneath her was buzzing at a low but constant rhythm, teasing her, making it hard to think straight. Her thighs trembled slightly, the fabric of her dress doing nothing to hide the way her breathing had changed. Across the room, Vito was in a deep conversation with some older man in a black suit, sipping wine like nothing was happening. He didn’t even look at her, but she knew he was aware, he always was.

She clenched her jaw, trying not to squirm in her seat. Every small movement made it worse. The sensation was maddening, just enough to make her wet, but not enough to push her over the edge. That’s exactly how he liked it, control without touch and obedience without words.

She couldn't take it anymore. Slowly, carefully, she stood up. Her legs wobbled a little, but she held herself together and walked toward the restroom, her heels clicking softly against the marble floor. No one paid her any mind, she’s just another pretty girl a

I found my way downstairs, moving like someone who had just fought a war. My legs were sore, and my thighs hurt. My lower belly? It was screaming pains. I held it with one hand as I entered the kitchen. I opened the fridge and pulled out the nylon bag Vito brought last night… the same food I refused to eat when he gave it to me. I was angry, stubborn, and scared last night. But now, my stomach didn't care about any of that.I placed the nylon bag on the counter and opened it. It was risotto alla Milanese, golden and creamy. The rich smell of saffron hit me first, warm and buttery, like comfort wrapped in luxury. It looked expensive. The kind of food served in big restaurants in Italy. My mouth watered.I placed it in the microwave, waited, then served it nicely on a plate. I sat at the small dining table in the kitchen and started eating slowly. Every bite made my belly feel a bit better, but the pain was still there. I winced again and held my stomach. I thought maybe it was from al

“You’re a monster, Vito,” she whispered, her voice trembling as his face hovered just inches from hers. But before the distance could freeze over, she leaned in and kissed him.It wasn’t planned, It wasn’t gentle. It came from some deep, wild place inside her… a place torn between fear and longing. She pulled away just as quickly, her breath shaky, her eyes fluttering shut like she wanted sleep to come and erase the moment. But Vito didn’t move away. He dragged her into his chest, holding her like he couldn’t decide whether to punish her or protect her.Ortensia couldn’t believe it. She kissed him after everything… after calling him a monster. After he threatening her, and made her scared. And yet, his lips still burned on hers like fire and forgiveness all tangled up.He whispered against her ear, his voice low and thick, “That kiss… you do

Before he reached the door, I ran to him and wrapped my arms around his waist from behind. “Vito, please. I’m sorry,” I whispered, my voice shaking, tears already sliding down my cheeks as I sniffed hard, trying to breathe through the fear.In that moment, memories rushed in like a slap to the face. I remembered Sebastian… the driver. The one Vito killed because of me. All I did was beg him to help me escape one night. I thought I could get away, thought someone would protect me. And it lead to Sebastian death. That’s what happens when I forget who Vito is: dangerous, cold and quick to act. And now, I had opened my stupid mouth and told him Rico brought me food. Just like that, I put another man in danger. But something happened. He didn’t move. The way I held him, my arms tight, my head buried into his back… it froze him. Like my touch dragged him back from the edge. His chest rose and fell, he was still breathing like a beast, but he wasn’t walking out anymore.“I’m sorry, please,”

A few minutes passed after Vito left, and I just laid there staring at the ceiling, my stomach aching like it was screaming through my skin. Then, out of nowhere, I heard a knock on the door.I sat up slowly, and confused. Vito? No way. That man won’t knock on his own bedroom door. He walks in like he owns the world… which, in his head, he probably does.So who could it be?I dragged myself up, feet heavy like bricks. My whole body was weak, like I had carried the weight of the entire day on my shoulders. I opened the door, and there he was… Rico. Standing there with a calm smile on his face, looking like a warm light in all this cold. Then he raised a nylon bag in his hand, holding it up like a trophy.“I thought you were hungry,” he said, that smile still on his face. “I reserved for two. Care for some, Miss Ortensia?”My eyes lit up instantly. It was like something inside me woke up again. I nodded fast, too happy to act cool. “Yes,” I said, breathless. “Thank you.”He handed me th

“Why did you…” I started to speak, my voice low, tired, and my stomach still twisting in hunger and anger, but she cut me off like my words didn’t matter.“Oh please,” she said, already rolling her eyes, her voice fake like some actress playing innocent on stage. “Why did I what? You think I did this on purpose?” She gave this sarcastic little laugh, her head tilted, and her lips curled. “Oh please.”She really thought I was stupid. Like I didn’t see it, like I didn’t feel the sharp intent in the way she moved. I saw the flick of her wrist, the way her hand struck that plate. I saw her face before and after, she didn’t even pretend to be sorry. That wasn’t clumsiness, and it wasn’t some dumb accident. It was clear as daylight, it was very obvious that she wanted to humiliate me, and she did it with a smile like she enjoyed every second.I stepped forward a little, not too close, but enough to let her know I wasn’t afraid. I looked her dead in the eyes.“See… I don’t know what you’re g

  • Owned By The Devil Himself    31: Licia Marino

It was that day when I stepped into the room… the one Vito was furious about when I broke the ash of his late brother. My eyes landed on the photo album. I opened it carefully, flipping through the pages. Then, there was this woman’s face… This woman, right there in one of the pictures. My heart skipped a beat because I never knew Vito had a sister. It felt like a secret locked away, hidden from me all this time.Vito noticed and stood up. “You didn’t tell me you were coming,” he said, sounding half-surprised, half-annoyed. But the woman didn’t care. Instead, she wrapped her arms around him and kissed him softly on the cheek.“Oh, shut up. Do I need permission to come to my brother’s house?” the woman teased, grinning.I glanced at Rico and gave him a soft smile. He nodded back calmly. Vito saw it but didn’t say a word. He just ignored it.“What if you came and didn’t find me home, Licia?” Vito asked with a smirk.Licia laughed and slapped him lightly, playful but real.“Who is this?”
