LOGIN“You both are getting married tonight and will have to give an heir to our kingdoms,”
“NO…..” both Callum and Amelia uttered in unison, hearing those words of the Lycan king, Keagan.
Both of their fathers looked at them.
“Amelia…..” her father, Victor, tried to talk to her but Amelia aggressively shook her head in denial.
“Did you hear what he just said? I have to….” Amelia was terrified to even say that thing out loudly. She would have to get married to that ruthless man and then have to give birth to his child? No, she could never.
“Papa, he…..”
“I and the Lycan king have reached this decision together, Amelia,” her father halted her in the middle, startling Amelia even more. She looked at her father, horrified and appalled.
“And you have to agree to this,” her father said to her in a dismissing tone. Amelia couldn’t believe her ears. Her own father, who had been trying to hide her from these Lycans for so long, now wanted her to get married to their prince? How? How could this be possible?
“No. I won’t,” Amelia raised her tone.
“I will not m….”
“Talk to your daughter and tell her it’s the only way for her to survive her life, Victor Ashwood,” Keagan spoke out, having had enough of Amelia’s outburst.
Victor sent Keagan a nod and held Amelia's hand to drag her out of that hall.
Turning her teary eyes, Amelia looked into Callum's infuriated gaze. His outrageous eyes told her he was against this wedding as much as hers, so believing he was her only hope, her teary eyes pleaded with him to stop this wedding from happening, which he clearly understood.
“I have never gone against any of your words, father, but I will never f*cking marry her,” Callum growled at his father after Amelia and her father left the hall.
“I will never marry that she-wolf. That's it,” sending his father a glare, Callum turned around to leave.
“Then you can forget about claiming and sitting on the Lycan king’s throne, Callum Morelli,” his father’s loud voice resonated in that hall.
Callum balled his fists at those words of his father because they both knew how hard he had worked and how many sacrifices he had made in his life for that throne of the Lycan King.
“What the f*ck is even going on in your head?” He spun around and bursted out at his father.
Callum had lost so much for the King's throne that now he believed that he didn’t deserve that throne, rather he had owned it and he would never let anyone or anything take that throne away from him.
It was his. That throne belonged to him.
“Why not just kill that f*cking wolf princess and end all of this for once and all?” he spat at his father, barely being able to hold his rage.
Just the thought of marrying her had started messing up with his mind.
“Because in that way, only that curse will break but now I want that curse to turn into a blessing for our kind,” his father spoke out, confusing him.
“Blessing?”
“Yes….a blessing,” His father uttered and walked towards him.
“That girl is a half human and half werewolf because her mother is a human and her father is a werewolf king, so she has both the traits and powers of a human and wolf, and if you would make her give birth to your child, then your child will become one of the most unique and powerful species in our world,” his father’s words had finally started making sense to him.
“A child, which will have the powers of a human, werewolf and a Lycan,” Hearing his father, he dug his nails against his palms brutally because his father's words immediately made him recall his past.
“Your child will be undefeatable, Callum,” his father attempted to make him understand but nothing worked for Callum.
No matter how powerful his and that she-wolf’s child was going to be, Callum was still not ready to marry her, let alone having a child with her.
He despised werewolves and their kinds, especially that crazy wolf princess.
“No, I will not marry her and I will not walk on that path you once had taken and got destroyed,” he declared. His father’s gaze hardened.
“So I will gladly dethrone you from this title of the Lycan prince, Callum, and then you can forget about ruling our world, son,” Keagan warned him in a rigid tone.
Callum clenched his jaw. Only if he would have not been his father then he would have already torn his neck apart from his body for even thinking about taking his belonging away from him, but Callum knew he could not go against his father by killing him.
His father was still the king, so he had much more power and control over this throne than him.
“Fine. I accept to marry her,” Callum uttered because now he was going to use that only way which would give him what he wanted and he wasn't going to care how immoral that way was going to be.
“But what if she doesn't agree to marry me then?” He asked his father.
“Then we will be leaving with no other option than to kill her in order to break the curse,”
Callum mentally smirked, hearing his father’s reply. Now that was exactly what he was going to make her do.
He would twist that wolf princess in a way she would herself refuse to marry him and then he would kill her and would get his throne.
…………….
“It’s for your own betterment, Amelia,” Amelia heard her father saying to her. He had been trying to make her listen to him for the past half an hour.
“Marrying the Lycan prince and giving birth to his child will not only make our pack powerful but in this way, we will be able to save your life. We wouldn’t have to keep you hidden anymore and most importantly, you will become the future queen of this Lycan kingdom which almost everyone fears in our world,”
Amelia gritted her teeth, hearing her father. She didn’t utter a single word to him because she had made up her mind. She would rather choose to kill herself than to marry and give birth to that man's child.
“Please, Amelia. I am requesting you. Please think about it and say yes to this marriage,” her father pleaded with her. She still remained quiet, so exhaling a heavy breath, her father stood up from the bed.
“Think about it, Amelia. You don’t have much time,” saying that, her father walked out of that room.
Sitting on the bed, Amelia gripped the edge of the bed. In no way, she was going to marry that heartless monster, let alone going to that sinful extent with him where his child would breathe inside her.
Not at all.
She slammed her fists against the bed and stood up on her feet. Amelia turned around but a gasp escaped from her mouth, seeing him standing right in front of her.
“What are you d…..” he shut her up by grabbing her jaw and slamming her down on the bed. He hovered over her, startling her.
“What are you doing? Don't t….”
“Keep your f*cking mouth shut,” he growled at her, tightening his grip around her jaw. Terror filled her body.
“Now I will speak and you will listen,” he spat at her through grinded teeth. Both of their bodies brushed against each other while their breathings tangled.
“Do not even think about agreeing to this marriage or else, I will make you regret this,” he warned her, glaring into her forest green eyes.
A scowl formed on her face at his words. What did he think that she wanted to marry someone like him?
“Like I am already dying to marry you,” she attempted to snatch his palm away from her jaw. Her words calmed him down a bit because they both were against this marriage.
“I don’t know about dying to marry me but I will surely make your life a living death if you dare to agree to this wedding,” hearing him, her scowl hardened.
“I will rather choose to die than to marry you, so don’t worry,”
A smirk formed on his face at her reply. For the very first time, they both had agreed on something together.
“Glad to know that, my princess. But you know what….?” His grip turned gentle around her jaw.
Callum's gaze unintentionally wandered all over her face and he couldn’t see a single mark on her skin. She was flawless, unlike him, who was stained in sins.
“I will let you live and free you from this place and our people if you refuse to accept this wedding in front of everyone, especially my father,” he uttered to her, and immediately saw a flame of hope igniting in her eyes, just like he had thought.
“Really?” She sounded extremely shocked and even happy.
Just like he had assumed. She was too naive and innocent and it was too easy for him to make her fall for his lies.
“Do you promise that you will free me from all of this if I refuse to accept this wedding in front of your father?” She asked him, hopefully. The hope to live her life with no barriers.
He just stared into her glowing innocuous eyes.
“Promise me,”
“I promise,” he said to her, believing he was already a sinner, so breaking her promise wouldn’t cause much of a difference in his sins. But only if he knew this promise of his was going to last till eternity.
“But how will you do it? Because we both know the only way to break that curse is to either kill me or….” She paused because she didn’t even want to say that to him.
Giving birth to his child? No….never.
“I am a Lycan prince and I am much more powerful than you can even imagine, so don’t worry about that. I have already found another way to break the curse which would let you live,” he uttered to her.
“So why didn't you tell your father about it earlier?” She asked him directly. He mentally growled. So she was not that dumb.
“Because I am not sure if that way is going to work or not but it's better to try it than marrying and f*cking you,” his words enlarged her eyes. His unfiltered mouth really had no shame.
“So just do what I say and we both will get what we want,” he got up from her.
Amelia also sat on the bed.
“You too. Don’t you dare to break our promise,” she sent him a warning glare. He passed her a smirk. How easy it was for him to manipulate this innocent being.
Callum pushed his face closer to hers.
“I won’t,” he softly whispered against her lips and he knew she trusted him. How foolish? She was trusting the man, who had always wanted to kill her.
She was fatally dangerous for her own good.
“But if you agree to this wedding then I am giving you another promise of ruining you completely, my wolf princess,” his words shivered her heart because she couldn’t even imagine the pain he would give her once he would become her husband.
They both peered into each other’s eyes but her heartbeat accelerated when she noticed his eyes trailing down towards her lips and stayed there for a brief moment.
What was even going inside his corrupted mind? Amelia couldn't understand anything.
“Stick to being my enemy. It would be less painful than becoming my wife and the mother of my child,” his words clenched her heart unknowingly.
Passing her one last glance, he left the room.
Amelia swallowed and slowly stood up on her feet. That day would never come. He would never become her husband, let alone the father of her child.
She would refuse for this wedding right now.
………….
After a while, Callum, his father and their kingdom’s other important people were present inside their royal court. Amelia's father was also present there.
“Princess Amelia is here,” the guard asked the Lycan king for his permission to take her inside.
Keagan sent him a nod.
Sitting on his chair, Callum watched her stepping inside the court. Her head was lowered. Her palms were clasped on her front. He was hoping that she would say no to this wedding in front of her father, especially after what he said to her in that room.
“So what’s your decision regarding marrying my son, Callum Morelli, princess Amelia?” Keagan asked her.
Her head remained downcasted for a few moments. Her lips remained sealed, turning Callum a bit restless. Why couldn’t she just already say no? What had happened to her fast running tongue?
“Princess Amelia….” Keagan took her name a bit rigidly now, making Amelia squeezed her eyes shut.
“I am willing for this wedding,” and those words of hers brought a malicious havoc for her own fate.
Callum clenched his jaw. Rage ignited inside his very being.
“Are you sure?” Keagan repeated.
“Yes,” she answered with her closed fists. Everyone smiled, except for him.
“So this wedding ceremony will commence tonight. Prince Callum and Princess Amelia will marry each other tonight,” Keagan announced, loudly.
Everyone started congratulating them.
Amelia slowly took her head upward and dared to turn it in his direction, and at that moment, seeing that venomous hatred burning in his eyes for her, Amelia understood what kind of pain she had invited for her own self.
That tonight she was going to get ruined in the sinister arms of her own husband and the father of her future child.
With an aching heart, Anisia saw him standing right in front of her. His hazel eyes stared at her with no emotions, or with an emotion which she was too messed up to understand at that moment.Anisia saw Nevan taking his strides closer to her. His every step accelerated the beating of her heart because it was igniting that irrational hope inside her that he was going to stop her….the hope for staying here with him forever. His steps paused right in front of her.“You are forgetting this here,” Anisia heard him and witnessed him lifting his hand where he was holding that pendant and chain, which she had taken from her mother and which belonged to his mother.Callum had taken that pendant and chain from her in the beginning, so she never tried to get it back, knowing it had reached its real owner which was Amelia.“Take it,” he said to her. For a brief moment, Anisia stared at that pendant. That pendant, which had taken her here, which had taken her to him…to that man, to whom she had
Her glossy eyes stared into his hazel ones with that only question that….did last night meant nothing to him except for a part of their deal? Didn't he feel anything for her last night? Just for once, didn't she succeed in entering into his heart last night? Was last night just a condition and cost? Not a longing and love?“What do you want at the cost of last night, Anisia?” His question caused another tear to fall from her eyes. His gaze followed the direction of her tears which he tried to wipe but this time, Anisia stopped him by gripping his wrist. He looked into her eyes where he witnessed her pain converting into anger, and somehow, he knew exactly for what reason.Anisia pushed his hand away from her face.“The cost I want for last night is that last night should be the only moment where you touched me,” she spoke out, wiping her tears away with her own hand. Her choice of words made him clench his palms but his facial expression remained unchanged. “You will get your cost,”
The rays of the warm morning entered the room and woke Anisia up from her peaceful sleep. She slowly unlatched her lashes and blinked in order to adjust her vision. A soft yawn escaped from her mouth. She got up and sat on the bed. Like her usual habit, she attempted to stretch her body but the second she did it, she felt that soreness in her lower body which made her hiss in pain, and that hiss immediately made her recall everything that had happened last night. Everything that had happened between her and him.Her eyes widened. She instantly pulled the duvet away from her body and looked inside it where she found herself completely naked under that duvet. Her naked body made it clear for her to understand that it was not a dream. Last night was real.Everything that had happened last night was not her hallucination. She lost her virginity to him…to that ruthless Lycan Prince, to her husband….who behaved so gently and carefully with her last night that her heart had already started
Terrified, Anisia stared into his glowing crimson eyes, which made her aware of the deadly beast standing in front of her and what he was wanting from her.She swallowed and clutched the front part of her clothes.“Can we d…delay this for some time please?” her tone came out as a begging which made him clench his jaw. He took his steps closer to her, almost huntingly.Anisia could feel each and every nerve inside her body tightening in dread with every step of his getting closer to her direction. His steps paused right in front of her, which made her lower her head before him. Her grip tightened around her own self, feeling his warmth covering her, and even in that moment, she could feel the warmth of his body calming her down. She didn't know how could this be possible that the man, whose presence was terrifying her so much, his warmth was making her feel secure and safe. Was it the effect of their matebond and the fact that now they both were married to each other? She could not un
Terrified, Anisia peered into those reddened eyes of his which were burning like flames of an erupting volcano.“You know what, human?” Nevan gripped her jaw a little more tightly, filling her with more fear. She knew his inner powers might have started taking charge over him and at this moment, triggering him could result in many more destructive things for her and the people around her.She needed to deal with him calmly.“We are extremely possessive of our mate….” He pushed his mouth closer to hers. Anisia could feel his breathing labouring. His jaw was tightly set. The tip of his ears had started reddening, making her aware that this might be the effect of their matebond. His jealousy was igniting his inner powers.Anisia could feel his body temperature rising.“Almost territorial….and I despised even just the thought of letting some other men touch you,” he growled at her. Anisia swallowed to calm herself down.“M…Miguel is just my friend. We were just da….” “I don't care what y
“This gathering seems amazing. What do you think, Ana?” Miguel uttered. Anisia passed him a nod, along with a forced smile because her mind was completely occupied by the deadline of an hour which was running out with every passing second.Miguel grinned at her but then they both noticed Mindy staring in a certain direction with her eyes completely focused. A certain kind of gloomy look was plastered on her face.Anisia trailed her eyes towards the direction Mindy was staring at and there she found Mindy gazing at Princess Jaelyna, who was talking to her parents with a wide smile on her face as her parents were saying something to her which was making her laugh. “Mindy….” Anisia called Mindy, who shook herself before looking at her.“What happened?” Anisia asked her but what she noticed ached her heart. She saw Mindy wiping the corner of her eyes, which made it evident for her to understand that she had been trying to hide her tears.“Nothing. It's just…. nothing,” Mindy said to her
