Mag-log inSienna – POV
I woke up in his strong arms again, smiling and feeling relieved with how last night turned out. He didn't answer Clara's call - instead, he gave me all his attention, turned me in every position until I was sore and breathless. "Tired?" he asked, eyes still closed, his sexy morning voice turning me on all over again. "Yes... thanks to you," I murmured, as he pulled me closer. He smirked. I stared at his diamond earring - that signature bad boy energy, paired with his tattoos. Wouldn't be the worst thing in the world if he added my name to one of those tats. "You hungry?" he asked, this time opening his eyes. "Mmm, yes," I replied, sitting up. My phone started ringing. Kate. Not answering. My best friend would definitely want details - and I wasn't about to spill with Nic right here. "What, Clara?" Nic suddenly said on the phone, pulling me out of my thoughts. "Is that all?" he muttered after a pause, staring at me like I'd done something wrong. I already knew that bitch was on the phone dragging my name. As expected. He ended the call, stood up, and carried me straight into the bathroom. ⸻ Breakfast He had my favorite dishes served - mashed potatoes, fries, pancakes, and tea. The day had just begun, and Nic was already on king-level spoiling. We hit a private spa, then went shopping. I bought everything I wanted - a Birkin, a new Louis Vuitton bag, a pair of Prada heels, and to top it off, the latest Van Cleef leg chain. He told me to pick anything I wanted. Of course I didn't hold back - I didn't come here to play. ⸻ In His Maybach He scrolled through an article on his phone while I watched him from across the seat. "Nic?" I called. "What's that, sweet?" he asked, eyes flicking up to meet mine. "You want anything?" "Yes..." "What is it?" "A pink Bugatti," I said, staring deep into his grey eyes. "That all?" I nodded. "Consider it done, baby," he said, pressing a kiss to my cheek. "Wait - really?" I squealed. "Anything for you, Sienna," he murmured, kissing my lips. Then his phone rang. His mom. "Hey, Mum... I'll be back soon," he said, voice suddenly serious. I could tell the trip was about to get cut short. "What happened?" I asked as he ended the call. "My dad... he was rushed to the hospital. He collapsed." "Oh my God, I'm so sorry." "It's fine. We'll be heading back soon." Just like that, he'd shut down again. Back into that cold, quiet shell. ⸻ Later That Evening I sat on my luxurious couch, Ann's head resting on my lap as we watched a movie. But I couldn't focus. My thoughts were with Nic. After we got back, he had his driver drop me off at my penthouse. Then Ann called and said she was coming over for the weekend. I'd been calling him ever since. Still no answer. Then Kelvin called again. "Hey, Sienna - wassup? I just saw Mr. Steele at the hospital. I was visiting my mum... Is everything okay? Did the business go well?" he asked, sounding concerned. "Yeah. He had something urgent come up, but the meeting went fine." "That's good to hear. Um... are you free? Maybe we could go out? Like... a date?" I needed to clear my head. "Yeah, sure." "I'll text you the place!" he said, sounding like he just hit the jackpot. "Okay," I replied, ending the call. ⸻ I walked into my closet and picked out a cargo skirt and a black crop top, paired with my favorite black heels. I always felt elegant in heels - like I owned every room I entered. A little makeup to complete the look. "Where to, sissy?" Ann asked. "Just out with a friend. I'll be back soon," I said, kissing her forehead. "And try not to burn down my new place." "Yes ma'am," she grinned. Ann's always been the homely one - cooking, baking, and playing mum. ⸻ Outside the Café "You look good today," Kelvin said as I slid into his car parked outside a coffee shop. "So what, I don't look good every other day?" I teased. "No! I mean, you always look good. You're glowing today." "Thanks," I said, as he pulled out of the lot. He took me to a classy French restaurant - strictly French cuisine. We placed our orders, but honestly, I had no appetite. "You okay?" Kelvin asked, gently taking my hand. "Yeah. Just tired from the trip." Then I felt it - that stare. I looked up to see a man in all black, standing in the corner with his eyes fixed on me. And then it hit me: Dominic Steele had someone watching me. "Shit," I muttered. "Um, Kel - I have to go." "Is something wrong?" "No, I just got a text from my sister. I'll see you at the office." I got up quickly, but before I could walk off, Kelvin pulled me into a hug - not helping at all. "Take care of yourself, Sienna." I smiled weakly and walked out of the restaurant - only to come face-to-face with Clara. Great. Just my luck. ⸻ "You whore! How dare you fuck my fiancé?!" she snapped, storming toward me. I smirked. "Did I?" I said sweetly. "Or is he just addicted to my coochie?" She looked around, clearly fighting the urge to slap me - but this was a public space, and she didn't have the guts. "Stay the fuck away from Nic, or else-" "Or else what, Clara?" I cut her off. "Maybe you should get a taste of your own medicine, bitch. No snitching now." I brushed past her shoulder, grinning. She hadn't seen anything yet. I was just getting started. The next evening, the house smelled of baked cookies and fresh flowers. Ava had insisted on helping me decorate, scattering petals on the dining table while Chris kept running to the window to check if “Aunt Ann’s car” was there yet. When the doorbell finally rang, the kids bolted before I could stop them.“Ann!” Ava squealed, flinging herself into her aunt’s arms the moment the door opened.Tara—Ann to everyone but me—laughed as she bent down to scoop her up. “Oh, my favorite girl! You’ve grown so much. What are they feeding you, sunshine?”Chris hugged her next, grinning wide. “Mom said you were coming, but I thought you’d miss the plane like last time.”“Not this time, kiddo,” she said, ruffling his hair. “I made sure of it.”I stood in the doorway, smiling before she even looked up. And when she did, her eyes softened in that way that always made me feel like home wasn’t a place—it was her.“Sienna,” she said quietly.I didn’t realize how much I needed her until I was in her arms.
Seinna povThe flight home felt quieter than the one that brought us there. The kids had fallen asleep halfway through, curled up under thin blankets, their faces peaceful against the hum of the engines. I watched them for a long while, brushing a strand of hair from Ava’s forehead, pretending not to notice the weight of Nic’s silence beside me.He hadn’t said much since the park. He’d disappeared for nearly an hour that evening before we left, returning only after sunset, jaw tight and eyes unreadable. When I asked where he went, he simply said, “Handled it,” and that was the end of it.Now, as the jet sliced through the night sky, he sat across from me, scrolling through his phone with a stillness that made the air between us feel heavy.“Everything okay?” I asked softly. His eyes lifted to mine for a moment before he nodded once. “Yeah. We’re fine.”But the edge in his voice told a different story. When we landed, dawn had already begun to creep across the horizon, painting the cit
Seinna pov My hands trembled slightly as I stared at the screen. Clara’s name glared back at me like a ghost that refused to stay buried. For a moment, the world outside the villa—the sound of waves, the laughter of the kids—faded into silence.Nic’s voice broke it. “What is it?”I didn’t answer at first. I could still feel his kiss on my lips, but now my heart raced for an entirely different reason. Slowly, I turned the phone toward him. His eyes flicked over the message, his jaw tightening. The shift in his expression was subtle, but it was there—the flash of irritation, the cold calm that always followed when he felt threatened.“Clara,” he muttered, almost to himself. Then, looking up at me, his tone softened, even though his eyes stayed sharp. “She won’t touch you, Sienna. I’ll make sure of it.”I swallowed hard. “Nic, you don’t know her like I do. She doesn’t stop until she gets what she wants. What if—”He cut me off, stepping closer, his hand wrapping around mine with quiet
Sienna’s POV“Sienna, I want you to meet someone…” Nic’s voice came from behind me as he stepped onto the balcony where I had been seated, staring out at the horizon.I turned, brows furrowing, unsure who he meant. But the moment my eyes landed on the figure beside him, my heart stopped. “Dad…” The word tumbled from my lips in a whisper of disbelief before I was on my feet, rushing into his arms. His embrace was strong, trembling with emotion. I buried my face against his shoulder, breathing in a scent I thought I’d lost forever. He muttered into my hair over and over, “I’m sorry… I’m so sorry…” like a broken prayer.Tears stung my eyes, slipping down my cheeks. Slowly, I pulled back, studying him as though afraid he might vanish. His skin was clear, his frame healthy—he looked cared for, better than I could have imagined. My gaze shifted toward Nic. He stood a few steps back, arms folded, expression unreadable, as if none of this touched him.“It’s not your fault,” I said firmly to m
“Miss me, bitch?”The voice slid from the darkness like a blade against glass, sharp and cold. My heart stuttered before the shadow stepped forward, revealing Clara. For a heartbeat I almost didn’t recognize her. The Clara I once knew carried a glow—a dangerous, surgically perfected beauty that always felt like a challenge. But this Clara looked different. Thinner. Precise. Her once radiant skin now held a damp, gray cast. Her eyes, once bright with mischief, looked older, haunted. The sleek hair that had always been her crown was now cut short, jagged around her face as if life had stripped her of vanity. Suffering clung to her like smoke.“Mum… who is she?” Ava’s small voice tugged me out of the frozen moment.Clara tilted her head, eyes sliding to my daughter. A slow, poisonous smile crept across her lips. “Aww, the little one,” she cooed, bending to Ava’s level. “She looks just like the man, doesn’t she? The man you stole from me.”“Don’t touch her,” I snapped, yanking Ava behind
Nic POVSteam curled around us, soft and heavy, but her words cut through it clean—I love you.For a second, I thought the hiss of the shower had played a trick on me. My hand, slick with water, stalled mid-motion against her back. The scent of her shampoo, the warmth of her skin—everything I’d been sinking into—blurred into something sharp, electric. My chest tightened, a pulse pounding behind my ribs like it wanted out. I stared at her, droplets sliding down her cheek, searching for a flicker of hesitation, anything that made this less real. But her eyes stayed on mine, steady and unflinching, and all I could do was grip the tiled wall, as if the whole room might tilt and drag me under.I wanted to say it back, to tell her I loved her—but the words felt trapped in my chest, stubbornly refusing to escape, even though deep down I knew how I felt.“You don’t have to—”“I love you, Seinna,” I finally said. As I spoke, I saw her eyes glisten, teary—like she’d longed to hear those words,
