08 DRUNK MATTHEW

The whole day, I didn't see Matthew and his friends earlier, and I wondered where they had gone. And now, I'm heading toward my part-time job, and I feel uneasy. I wondered why I felt this, but not seeing Matthew the whole day worries me. Why I'm worried about him? I don't know either. We only formally met yesterday and agreed with this fake boyfriend thing, but I felt a little attached to him.

I finished my work in a blur, and I'm on a bus heading home. I arrived home around eleven in the evening. I quickly washed myself and laid my tired body on my bed.

I was already slowly dosing off when my phone rang. I reached for it and drowsily answered it without looking at who the caller was. "Hello?"

"Abby! I quickly sat up and looked at the caller ID.

Matthew? Why he's calling me this late? "Matthew, is that you?"

"Yes, Can you come over?" He asked, and I could hear him panting and speaking slurredly.
