Song: Memories

I parked the car closeby as I walked up to the gravesite.

I stopped in front of Edith's gravestone which had some offerings like pictures, food and flowers which proved people have been visiting once in a while.

My eyes teared a little but I blinked it back as I squatted and my hand touched the stone.

"Hey mom, it's been three years and I'm sorry I never attended your burial or came to see you once but I'm here now. I'm here to talk." I said softly as I touched the stone.
