Chapter 40

Gyzell’s POV

I just waited for Kevin to finish his glass of homemade wine as I rubbed my seafood-filled belly.

Boy, how fresh their food is! I’d definitely sell my soul for another round of this feast.

“Let’s do it now, Kevin,” I purred. “Let’s do it now that the people are in a good mood and aren’t on the party mode yet.”

Kevin snorted. I looked around again and I realized why he snorted at me. The people had long gone partying since the break of dawn.

It’s the second day of the company’s party and people seem to never run out of energy. Some are still dancing their bodies until their soul leaves the earth. Others were drinking and grilling seafood and meat while telling stories of their younger years. There are also others who are cloaked by the shadows, singing songs of pleasure that came from their bodies.

Kevin, though slightly intoxicated, lifted up his wine glass and made a ringing sound using a table knife.
