Catherine's POV

I stood in front of his house contemplating my next actions ignoring the rain pouring heavily on me, I knew the damage I had caused but I had no other option,

"You should come in or you will catch a cold, he is in his room by the way "Cindy his secretary advised from the front door, she seemed to have noticed I had been standing out here for quite some time now, It wasn't much of a surprise meeting her here since he had not been in the office for some days,

"Thank you, I will be in shortly" I replied nervously, she nodded before heading back inside, I took a few deep breaths before following suit making sure to take off my wet shoes before going in.

I stood in front of his room door prepping myself before I finally knocked, I waited for a few minutes without a reply then I took the bold step of going in,

"What are you doing here?" He spoke up harshly his voice echoing in the dark room startling me a little,
