"It's not possible Paige, as I am speaking with you, I have already hired people who are moving your things from your apartment to my house in the main city, I can't afford to lose any of you" I admitted finally blurting out what I wanted to say from the onset bracing myself for her reaction and she didn't disappoint, my left cheek stung, but I guess I deserved it,

"You have no right whatsoever to just carry me away from my home I have lived in for six years now, no right at all," she said seething,

"I know that Paige, but it's the best thing to do, you will be safer at my place, and you know it," I said trying to convince her,

"Because the person after us is afraid of you?" she asked, a challenge dancing in her eyes,

"Don't tell me you think I know the person or this is my fault in any way?" I questioned, although her facial expression already gave everything off,
