The drive to the caves was actually very agonizing. Angelina’s heat went into full mode an hour into the drive. She blindfolded herself, insisting that it made it better for her to bear not being able to see me. She discovered the flaw to her plan pretty soon.

I can’t hide my scent, and it was driving her and her wolf crazy. Her wolf was coming out more and more, and I could actually feel the power. Nikolas was beyond ecstatic to know that his mate was that powerful, even though I was sure that that wasn’t even her full power.
