Chapter 27

Escaping Vlad and saving my family 

I felt his release running down my leg and cursed vehemently. I was going to kill Vlad, for that I was certain. I examined the chains and how they were bolted to metal coming from inside the wall. I could have picked the locks if I had my pants and my tool. It appeared I'd have to play nice to get released and that pissed me off. I had yet to see my son and could hear him fussing in the next room. I hung there for several hours and my wrists hurt. Vlad came in pulling a young boy after himself. He unchained me and I fell weakly to the floor. He shoved the human at me and told me to eat. I looked wide eyed at him then to the young one.
