Chapter Eight •
Rex fumed in anger has he drove away. The interchange between Kylie and Leo was more than what it seemed.
"How do you know him?" Rex questioned.She shrugged. "He's a son to my mother's friend." she said plainly."And the interchange between both of you was what?"he asked as his knuckles tightened on the steering wheel.
"What interchange?I was defending you." Kylie said getting irritated by the questions.She heaved in relief when he parked the car at the parking lot of the company.
"I'll call you." he said to her as she stepped out of the car. She didn't even want to respond to him. Her mind was crowded with the words of Leo as she walked into the company and into the elevator."I expected more." his words flashed across her mind. How dare he?! How dare he ridicule Rex that way. She fumed.

Her heart raced as he walked towards her. He wore a white shirt,a slim fit royal blue tuxedo and a blue polka dot tie.His hair was stylishly cut at the nape of his neck.
