Third Person P.O.VCurling her brows, Aiden runs her hand through her hair drowsily, her mouth opens wide yawning. She sits straight and brushes the few strands of hair on her face behind her ears, her brows furrow curiously when she feels the texture of material around her palm, bringing her hand to view she examines the bandage tied around her palm with a neat bow. The corners of her lips twitch upwards to a spontaneous smile, untying the bandage she stomps to the washroom. The crispy golden brown sandwiches pop out, taking it Riley sets the sandwiches on the plate, he then removes the grizzling omelette from the heated pan, the yolk wobbly on the top in a way that when the knife cuts through it the yellow liquid flows out. The other companion which joins the plate are the fried sausages. He sets the plates on the table along with a glass of grape juice. He takes his seat and fixes his gaze to the guest room door. The next minute his gaze averts and he looks away facing the opposit
Aiden's P.O.VThe damaged cafe is labelled with no entry strips, we stopped by the road scanning the surrounding trying to find anything which can give a useful piece of information. There is only a couple days left for the trial and we are still unprepared, turning to my left I look at Riley, he pinches the bridge of his nose his forehead wrinkled, his eyebrows curled and his eyes are squinted. He lets out a loud weary sigh and sits straight, his eyes tensed. He faces me and forces a smile.Unlocking the door, I push it open "Come, let's go," I step out and walk ahead."The owner of the shop," I speak when he meets my pace "Do you know him?," I ask as we stop by the shop where Mr. Mintz was stood, the damages are cleaned yet not fixed. "No, I haven't been here," he replies as he steps forward looking inside through the frame of shattered glass."I see," I wander in to the counter table, passing a glance at Riley who watches me curiously I spring off to the opposite side of the large
“Who are you?,” The man in suit questions staring right at the two, he gaits and stops in front of them his eyes fixed to Riley.“Excuse me,” Riley counters, his voice comes out stern and deep, he keeps a step forward erasing the few distance between them.“Who the hell are you?,” He questions adjusting his tie, he slants his head a bit to the left frowning at the person opposite to him, his brow arched questionably.“I’m the assistant of the her husband’s lawyer,” the man smirks exposing his identity. The corner of Riley’s lips twitches up to a smirk, he chuckles teasingly “I’m the lawyer of her husband,” he scoffs as he crosses his arms over his chest, watching him amusingly.Aiden stands by the side passing her gaze at Riley and the other man.“You...,” He lifts his arm his elbow blows backwards swiftly.Aiden steps forward to defend but she stops, her small eyes expands in surprise. She stares at Riley who stops the large fist, his long fingers digging into the man’s skin. Tighten
Aiden's P.O.VI tuck in my white blouse to the pink trousers, buttoning up the pants I look straight at my reflection. A slight smile forms on my lips when I hear Lisa still squealing as a kid found her missing favourite toy. She is really head over heels for Riley, the way she jumped forward to welcome him and served him is unlike her. She has been repeating that she is his fan countless times and that ear to ear smile never leaves her face. I put on the blush pink coat, taking a look at myself... It's been quite a time to see myself officially dressed, the image in front of me in that suit... reminds me something...I run my hand through the brief strands as I step closer to the mirror... I'm clueless of why this flashed in my mind but to be honest yet it didn't effect me...Mike...He often tells me that I look splendid in this suit... Splendid?...My foot...That bastard...Thank god I'm haughty of myself that I didn't even feel a thing when he states all rubbish...I gather my hair
Third Person P.O.VThe ever silent hall gets filled with chatters, Aiden stacks the plates and turns around to see Blake who takes the glassware from the pantry. The plan of hanging out together in the restaurant was called off because she wanted Harry to join the meal with them as he has been locked in for a long time.Aiden places the plates by the sink "Why is everything dusty? I'll wash these you unpack the takeouts," she rolls up the sleeves of the blazer and opens the tap, she squeezes the dishwasher onto the sponge and begins to clean. "Any help?," Riley enters the kitchen, he walks behind her."Nah, just carry the washed plates to the tab...," The last two letters 'le' stuck in her throat when he unclips her hair, his fingers brush over her skin as he gathers her hair to his hand. Aiden's body freezes her movements stop for a second at his touch, she stares at the water which flows, her eyes forgot to blink. He clips her hair and steps closer his body brushing over hers as
The sun passes through the thick curtains, Riley squints his eyes his long lashes untouch his cheeks. He squeezes his eyes shut and opens again to get a clearer vision, his eyes widens in horror when he comes back to reality. His body fixates as he examines her, Aiden who is sleeping beside him, her body turned to his direction. He remains baffled unknown of what happened, he shuts his eyes immediately acting asleep as he doesn't know how to react when she wakes up and he finds it awkward to be awake first, his mind loading up with wild imagination. He stays motionless for a while waiting till she opens her eyes but his wait is only getting longer. He lifts his eyelids slowly peeking a glance at Aiden, his eager hand touches her face, the finger tips caresses over her skin when he pushes the strands of hair from her face. The corners of his lips slightly moves upwards when he rubs his thumb at the corner of her eyes, he moves closer to her as he swallows the lump in his throat, his
Riley's P.O.VCinema theatre? Is she out on a date? Why does this seem kinda unbelievable to me?I look away from the shutter and turn to my right, she focuses on driving her eyes fixed to the side mirror reversing the car to park."Who is your friend?," I ask curiously, my mind still eager to know the owner of the voice which I heard. She remains silent like she never heard me."Is your friend a male or female?," I lean forward in interest. She hits the break and looks at me, her expression enough to convey the message, I purse my lips to a flat line as I move back to unbuckle the seat belt. Why does she always have to be cold with the poker face?I step out the very next second after she closes the door, she walks ahead to the entrance not even once looking over her shoulder to check on me.Did I do something which made her mad?Is she enraged because I'm being a third wheel on her date? The only thing which I'm confused right now is that how can she find someone attractive when I'm
Third Person P.O.VThe messy room is clean for once with no clothes around, some ornaments packed in a cardboard box. Riley stands straight after he tapes the boxes, he looks around a smile makes it's way on his lips when he spots the red blinking light at the corner of the room. Dusting his hands he pulls a chair and stands on it, he slowly pulls out the cameras fixed, his phone rings the very next second."Why did you remove the cameras?," Aiden questions as soon as he answers the call."I forgot to inform, I'm moving out," he sighs as he throws the camera to a bag."Where to?,""To my house,""Your house?,""The place where dad was staying, I find it useless to pay the rent with the money in hand,""Hmm, it's the first time I see you making sense," she jokes."I always make sense," Riley scowls, he chuckles when he realises that the call is hung before he spoke. The luxury room is brightened with enormous fascinating lights, the tables arranged with variety of deserts and wine.
