Summer and Alfred went through the formalities at the police station, filled in the documents, and took the suitcase back.

"Take a look and see whether any objects are damaged or lost. Check them thoroughly," the police asked Alfred to check the suitcase.

The outside of the suitcase was not damaged. After Alfred opened it, the items inside were basically untouched as well.

Alfred glanced at the laptop and just frowned slightly without saying anything.

After leaving the police station with the suitcase, Summer looked at Alfred. "Nothing’s missing inside?"

"I didn’t lose anything, and that’s the weird part." After they left the police station, Alfred lowered his voice and spoke again, "I didn't say anything just now… as I didn't want to alert anyone. They didn't take any of my things, not even my valuable watch and the cash which I exchanged."

Summer was stunned for a moment and was a little puzzled.

"However, they had used my laptop." Alfred took Summer out of the police station
