Jennifer wanted to leave the sanitarium too, but she feared that it would only burden her family even more.

“Jen, eat breakfast.” Casper was rushing to work. He woke up early.

Jennifer felt bad. She still had not learned how to cook.

She initially thought she would be able to help Casper, but she realized she knew nothing…

She could not help him at all. Instead, she troubled him even more.

“Why do you look so unhappy?” Casper noticed that she was upset.

Jennifer shook her head in disappointment as she sat at the table. “Casper, you’re not eating?”

“I'm late. I’ll be leaving first. I’ll come back later at noon with some fruits.” Casper looked at the time. He did not have any cases on hand, but he needed to attend a monthly meeting.

Later in the afternoon, he would be requesting a posting to investigate Hanna.

“Casper…” Jennifer called out nervously when she noticed him walking towards the door.

“Yes?” He asked as he put on his coat.

“Come back earlier …” she whispered.
