Chapter 25

In the bathroom.

Summer was curled up in the corner for a very long time. Her eyes were glassy as she glanced around. She threw a glass onto the floor before picking up one of the shards and grasping it forcefully.

The metallic smell of the blood and the pain in her palm cause Summer to tremble even more violently. She bit her finger, and she could not help but fall to the floor.

A year.

Too much had changed in a year.

After she had lost her memory, she thought that Jasper was her God, her salvation.

But it turned out that he was the devil, an evil demon from hell.

What on earth had she done wrong? Why did God play such a cruel trick on her?

“Jasper…” She grasped the glass shard even more forcefully, and her voice was laced with hatred as she uttered Jasper’s name.
