Chapter 60

The look in his eyes was like that of an eagle who had set its sight on its predator.

“Jasper, do you know who’s back?” After Adrian left the hospital, he gave Jasper a call.

“Who?” Jasper had stood outside the Ardly family’s mansion for the better part of the night. He was about to sleep when Adrian had called him.

“Benjamin Miller!”

Jasper had been starting to get tired, but he immediately became wide awake when he heard that name. He raised his hand to massage the space between his eyebrows. “Can you repeat that?”

“Benjamin Miller, your stepbrother who was my senior brother back in Country M. He actually gave up the bright future he had there and returned to our country. Could it be that he had gone through some sort of trauma just like me? What do you think?” Adrian muttered in a soft voice.

“Oh, by the way, he mentioned that his mother passed away a year ago. This guy is a bit strange. I’ve always thought that he had a bit of an Oedipus complex. He talks about his mother to
