🔞PERSONAL TAST

Location: Chicago Time:- 7: 00 am

AUTHORESS P.O.V

"Rowen, why did you do that?" Austin asked with a frown.

 "I did it because you deserve it" Rowen replied. He picked his headphone from the table and put it on immediately.

 "Hey Mr. Hunt your phone is ringing," Austin said. 

"You can pick it" Rowen replied.

 "Oh my goodness! It's Dora" Austin said emphasizing the name, Dora. 

"You and Dora should get lost" Rowen replied. "Hey what are you doing here?" Someone asked and Austin look back immediately.

 "Good morning Mr. Mich" Austin greet.

 "Are you a chef?" Mr. Mich asks. "No, I'm very sorry sir" Austin replied and rushed out of the kitchen and Rowen bite back a laugh. 

"I'm very sure you see me standing here!" Mr. Mich said. 

Rowen ignored him and started singing loud. "Did you realize I'm the manager of this place?" Mr. Mich ask.

"Thank goodness you said manager, not owner" Rowen replied. 

"The only thing that's still keeping you here, is your food, you're the best cook we have here, so I can't sack you," Mr. Mich said and walked out of the kitchen. 

"I don't know why everyone likes to frustrate my life," Rowen said with a sigh. 

He picked up his ringing phone and placed it on his ear.

 "Hey baby boo, I'm coming to Paris tomorrow," the caller said.

 "How's that my business?" Rowen ask.

 "Your business is, I'll search for you, and I must find you because you're mine," the caller said and Rowen end the call immediately. 

He placed his head on the counter and tears fall freely from his eyes.

 "Wait am I crying?" He asked and cleaned his tears immediately. 

"I think I need to go on isolation," Rowen said. "No way!" Austin replied coming inside the kitchen.

 "What are you doing here?" Rowen ask. 

"I'm your best friend, so I need to always be by your side," Austin said. 

"You're jobless," Rowen said. "I love it like that, it looks like you cry, Rowen tell me the reason why you cried?" Austin asked.

EMMA P.O.V

"Dad, how did you get here?" I asked with a frown.

 "Answer my question first!" He yelled.

 "Fine, I enjoy myself, it's my friend's birthday party so I need to be there" I replied and he stood up from the chair and moved closer to me.

 "You're a grow-up lady," he said and does some thinking. 

Thank goodness he agrees I'm grown. 

"You're old enough to decide on your own," he said and I jumped up happily. 

"But I don't like this lifestyle you choose to leave and whether you like it or not, you're getting married next month," he said and I opened my mouth in shock.

"Dad, to you or who?" I asked surprised. 

"To the person, your mother told you about, keep your opinion to yourself because I don't need it!" He said and walked out. 

What the heck! These people think they can dictate my life for me. 

No way I think it's high time I leave the state. "Hey, Dad is gone," Brittany said entering my office. 

 "Go back to where you're coming from, your presence isn't needed," I said and she moved closer to me checking my body.

 "What the heck is your problem?" I asked. 

"I'm checking your body for wounds so relax" she replied. 

"Brittany I'm traveling out of this state now," I said and Brittany burst into laughter.

 Wait did this psycho think I'm joking.

 "Babe that joke is too expensive" she replied and I picked up my phone.

 I dialed my manager's number and he pick up immediately.

 "I want to see you in my office right now!" I said and end the call.

 "Babe, are you truly leaving?" Brittany replied. "No" I replied with an eye roll.

 "Better" she replied with a scoff and my office door throw up. 

"Normalize knocking before banging into my office, don't let me use my anger on you!" I said raising my head from my laptop.

 "I'm very sorry, Miss Maxwell" he replied immediately. 

"Sorry for yourself, I wanna inform you that I'm leaving the state for two or more years!" I said and Brittany shouted immediately. 

"What the hèck, where are you going to?" She asked.

 "We are traveling out of the state" I replied. "You and who?" Brittany asked with a frown.

 "Are you ready to lose your job?" I asked her. "You're so proud," she said rolling her eyes.

 "stop rolling your eyes at me, I'm your boss," I said and she scoffed loudly.

 "Where are you going to Miss Maxwell?" My manager asked.

 "Where am going to is none of your business, I'll like you to take care of my company when I'm away, go summon other workers for a meeting," I said relaxing on the chair.

 "Alright Miss Maxwell I'll do just that" he replied and walked out. 

"Babe talk to me what's happening?" Brittany asked.

 "There's no need for you to know what's happening since you ran away in the first place" I replied with a scoff.

 I'm going to Paris today" I said have many restaurants and houses in Paris, I need freedom. 

"I'm sorry for running away, you know what Dad can do now!" Brittany said with a pout. 

"Fine Dad wants me to get married to someone I don't know" I replied and she burst into laughter.

 "What's funny, are you okay at all?" I asked because i don't know the reason why she's laughing. 

"Bride to be, I can't wait, when is the date?" She asked.

 "You're sick upstairs, I'm going to Paris today and you're going with me as my best friend and PA," I said. 

"What if I say I'm not going?" She asked.

 "I'll get someone else in Paris," I replied going through some files. 

"You dare not!" She replied. "Try me, I wanted to go with Nadia and you, but I change my mind I'm going with only Nadia," I said and stood up immediately.

 "You dare not!" She said and run after me.

 I walked inside the conference hall and I sat down on my chair with my leg crossed.

 "Good morning Miss Maxwell" they are all great and I nod my head in reply. 

Sitting in front of all the staff, looking at them one after the other. 

I just pray my traveling doesn't end up affecting my company greatly. 

"Good morning everyone, I'll just go straight to the point. I'm leaving the country for a while and will be back, and in the meantime, the manager will take over the company, while I'm away." 

I said and they murmured among themselves. "Did anyone have something to say?" I asked and they all shake their heads negatively.

 "Good I'm going with Nadia and Brittany my personal assistant, Mr. O'Brien I'll advise you to employ a new secretary," I said and stood up immediately.

 "Ma!" Nadia called. "How are you, Nadia?" I asked with a smile. 

"I'm fine, Miss but you didn't tell me before," she said. 

"Nadia, did you have a problem with that?" "No I don't, I'm very happy you choose me" she replied with a smile.

 "Go back to your house and get ready, we are going in the next thirty minutes," I said. 

"Alright ma" she replied with a smile.

 "Hey let's go! Or are you planning to sleep here?" I asked Brittany. 

"Ma where are you going to?" My driver asked immediately he saw me.

 "I'm going back to the house!" I said and entered the car with Brittany.

 "Alright, Miss Maxwell" he replied and rushed to the driver's seat.

"You came back early today, are you back to prepare for your marriage?" Mother asked with a smile. 

"Yes, I'm here to prepare!" I replied and rushed to my room with Brittany by my side. 

I'm here to pick up my passport, I'm not going with any of my luggage.

 "Here is your passport!" I said and throw Brittany's passport to her and she picked it up immediately. 

I rack through my room and brought out a gown that barely cover my knee. 

I picked a bag to complete my dressing and walked out of the room. 

"I thought you said you're back to prepare for your marriage?" Mother asked.

 "Yes I'm going to shop for my wedding dress" I replied.

 "Good can I come with you?" She asks. 

"No mum three is crowd" I replied and walked out of the house.

 "To the airport!" I said to my driver and he drove off immediately.

 "Hey, babe look at those lovers" Brittany said pointing to two lovers making out in public.

 "Stop the car!" I command and my driver stopped the car immediately.

 "Hey what are you planning to do?" Brittany asked with a frown. 

"Watch me" I replied and get down from the car.
