I walked out of the hospital on the third day. By then my wound had healed and blood had stopped running out of my back. I was a bit relieved and hence could face my proprietor who was waiting for me in the staff quarter. As I walked past the corridors of the school, Kayla, Amanda, and three other wolves came to my front. "Hey, boyfriend snatcher! Congratulations, you are alive." Kayla said in disgust. I dismissed the affront and kept moving towards the staff quarters but I was stopped again. "Are you mad? Don't you see us standing?" Amanda resounded a hot slap across my face, causing me to dizzy. "What's my business with you guys, let me be!" I screamed at the top of my voice even though I had not enough strength yet while they laughed at me. "You have begun to grow a liver, hasn't it? You have been chosen as the Luna of two packs. Now you can raise your voice at us." Kayla held me by my hair and said, causing me to grunt in pain. "You are nothing but a seductress, bitch.
I hung my bag over my shoulder and walked out of the pack patrol border. I was going to a place I had no idea of, a place I might end it all. I did my best, but my stepmom, and my stepsister coupled with Bloodmoon pack members made sure I was sent out on suspension for three months. Well, maybe the moon goddess was planning a better way for my death. I slowed my steps as I got to the front of the mighty heavy wood that was towered in front of me. The mystic sounds of owls, birds, and vultures, simmered into me and fear ran through my spine for a moment. I swallowed in fear, grabbing my bag so tightly to my body like a baby, and walked through the dark wood. As I walked further into the woods, the trees were undoubtedly close in around me, blocking out the light in my direction of motion. I suddenly became aware of the sounds of rustling and breaking twigs all around me like a huge tornado. I couldn't see anything through the dense underbrush, but I knew that something was out there
"Thanks for saving me!" I greeted the handsome dude that just helped me. "You are welcome! What are you doing here alone? Don't you know there is no road here?" He asked. "I am just a stranger here," I said to him. "What pack are you from?" He asked looking at me expectantly. "Howler moon pack," I responded to him. His eyes grew brighter in the air as I pronounced as if he knew about the pack. "Howler moon pack?" He asked once again, nodding his head slightly. "Yes". I responded to him, but then he was lost in his thoughts. His finger was in his mouth as nodded. "Hope nothing!" As I asked him, he jerked up to life and answered in a jiffy: "No-no". May I know what you are doing here?" He asked pretentiously. "I was suspended in my pack and also in the school for three months and the only place I could hide my head is here, in the woods," I responded to him, parting my lips in shame. "But why? Not a pretty damsel like you," he said, a blush radiating off my face. "I
Douglas became my mentor, teaching me how to move silently through the woods, how to fight with my fists and feet, and how to use a bow and arrow just like him. As I became more skilled, I started to notice Douglas in a different way. He was no longer just my mentor, but also an intriguing and attentive man. Moreover, I killed my feelings for him, telling myself that romance had no place in the harsh world of the woods, not in the Howler moon pack or in my high school. I could kill my feelings for him but the only thing I could not kill was every time he smiled at me or brushed his hand against mine because it always caused my heart to race. I knew that I needed to focus on my training, knowing fully well that it would have a great impact on my life after my suspension was over. I was surprised at how quickly I picked up the fighting techniques he taught maybe because he was a patient teacher, but he didn't take it lightly with me as I had ought. Instead, he pushed me to my limi
I arrived at the patrol border of the Howler moon pack. I was at my home pack, a place I was bullied, rejected, and isolated. I walked up to a busty lady who was seated on a couch. "Good afternoon!!" I greeted her. She observed me for some minutes and responded more or less like mumbling. "Afternoon!" She responded, her gaze still on me, but I did not mind as I walked past her. "Amaya!!" She called in a single word and I was forced to look back at her. "Do you know me?" I asked her, her eyes now smiling as she stood up from the couch and walked up to me. "I know you, Amaya. It's been three months since you left the school to a place we didn't know. We thought you would not make it, but we are glad you did," the girl said with an elated smile. She seemed to be happy with me, but I could not remember where I saw her. Though her face was familiar, I still could not figure out where I'd seen her. "I was the girl you met on the school field three months ago," she said, opening her
"I don't know! All I know is that they have been haunting her all about, but that works for my good though." Aurora said. I gasped as I heard the conversation between this set of wolves and Aurora. That means Aurora does not know anything about the black rogues as I had thought. These wolves are just normal thugs. In fact, one of these boys was Amanda's boyfriend in school. They were the ones Aurora sent to bully me and not the black rogues. They had some conversations which I kept in my left hand and the thugs left. Later on, Aurora picked up her phone and dialed Alpha Brian's number, telling him about the end of my suspension and what they needed to do to get rid of me. "Alpha Brian, what if Amaya comes back home alive? Who would be the Luna of our pack?" Aurora asked. At the other end of the line, Alpha Brian responded: "Aurora! I have told you the time without a number. Amaya can't survive in the woods that was why I sent her there deliberately." Whoa! I knew all the
I strode out of the house and started running when a hand grasped me and pulled me onto itself. Raising up my head, I met the familiar pairs of blue eyes flickering at me. "Jeremy?" I said, trying to pull him away from me. "Yes! Jeremy. I have searched for you everywhere and I couldn't find you." "Why are you looking around for me? See all that you have caused me. Because of you guys, I was sent out of school to suffer in the woods." "I was in the woods, Amaya! I searched for you everywhere but I could not find you!" "I am a mere Omega She-wolf. You guys should just choose your arranged mates and let me be." I scoffed, my voice running deep. "Not now that I have tasted the ecstasy of your body." "Keep quiet, fool!" Jeremy held my arm, pulled me inside of himself, and said: "I am your Alpha, Amaya." "The only 'A' you meant to me is 'Asshole'". I scoffed, grunting in pain at him. "You don't talk to your Alpha like that, bitch!" Alpha Jeremy gritted his teeth and said.
“How dare you live, Amaya? Your reckless body should have been feasted on by the vultures in the wood,”Aurora gritted her teeth and spoke. I clenched to the tip of my gown and glared at her with bad eyes.“She's not going to die, Aurora. She belongs to me!” Jeremy struggled to say even as he was pinned down to the wall.“Keep quiet, fool. I own Amaya, not you!” Jason spat the blood in his mouth at Jeremy and struggled to let go but he was pinned to the wall yet.“Can you fools just keep quiet? You guys are a bunch of shame to your packs as the incoming Alphas. You should come back to your senses before the international sports contest kicks off.” Alpha Brian tackled Jeremy and Jason.I began to feel a pang of remorse for signing a secret contract with Jeremy. I should not have allowed myself to fall for his seduction. Maybe I would just be battling with Aurora and Serah for choosing to love Jason who promised to help me find my missing mum by all means. I was sure I was going to be ba
