8. Wedding The CEO

Marriage was supposed to be between two people who loved themselves dearly.

But instead, people were getting married for different reasons which did not include love. At least, Zara’s reason included love. She was trying to save the man she loved. Oliver could still try to claim that his reason was also for love since he was trying to save the one thing that meant the world to him after everyone else abandoned him— his company. Maybe in doing so, he was also protecting other people's love. Maybe so many lives asides that of Kelvin’s were depending on this marriage. Which was why they had to make it work no matter what. They could not screw it up.

Both parties were seated opposite one another. Kelvin and Zara sat together on one side of the table. Oliver, Jeff and Anne sat on the other side of the rectangular table. They were seating in an office Anne had managed to arrange. Even Oliver wondered how she pulled it off but he decided not to ask any questions.
