Emily's POV

"Emily!" I hear someone call my name from behind and I slow down, turning to see Jace running towards me.

"Hey" He says breathlessly as he catches up with me, panting heavily as he runs his hand through his hair.

"Uh.... Hi,Jace. What do you want?" I ask him, staring at him in confusion.

"Can we talk?" He asks me.

"What do you want to talk about Jace? There's nothing for us to talk about. We've over" I say calmly.

"Please Emily... I just want to talk" He begs.

"Look Jace, I have Class and I'm running late already. I don't have the time for this" I tell him.

"I know. I swear it'll only take a few seconds if you'd just hear me out" He says, staring at me with pleading eyes, "Please" He quickly adds.
