"I'm sorry," I abruptly spoke to Soren as we entered our room. He turned his gaze to me and gave me a puzzled look. I just smiled at him and hugged him. I don't why I said that but I really want to say sorry to him because of my affair with his son. How shameless of me.

"Why so sudden, huh? Do you need something?" Soren asked me in surprise but he barely hugged me back. I just sighed and hugged him.

"It's just that I want to say sorry to you," I mumbled in between our hugs. He may not understand but I just want him to know that I'm sorry. I had to tell him that because I had committed a great sin.

"Alright, whatever it is. You're forgiven. Right, I bought many souvenirs for you. Would you like to take a look?" Eventually, he changed the topic, and I just smiled.
