“I know, David! You think I don't know that?!” Sarah yells at my father.

I sigh under my breath, sticking a cigarette between my lips.

I'm inside my car, waiting for Maya to be done, so that I can drive us to school.

Even though I'm not in the house, I can still hear my dad and step mum arguing. It's a good thing that they don't do this often…

They are just tensed because Maya was almost caught today by the impromptu combat spar that almost exposed our family secret.

I don't believe that Maya is wolfless, she is just a late bloomer, but if she is wolfless, that will be a lot of problem.

For Maya and her mother, they will be disgraced and kicked out of the pack, and for my father, he will get demoted for keeping such a secret.
