Twenty-nine

Maya got home very tired as she had a lot of clients to attend to, Mrs Patricia had helped her put Jayden to sleep as she saw how tired Maya was, after taking her bath she laid down on the bed as she recalled that she didn't see Micheal again after Jason left the office. She sighed knowing that Michael was just a part-time manager who was free to close from work anytime. Maya's thoughts were a jumbled mess as she replayed the events of the day in her mind. Despite her anger and frustration, she couldn't help but smile when she remembered the way Jason had professed his love for her. It was a moment she had dreamt of for so long, and it had finally come. She was supposed to be angry that Jason's good intentions came rather too late but here she was blushing over his words.
