April POVTwo months before Meg’s abduction Well, it turns out that the weird dream wasn’t from the spicy food I’d eaten. I have had the same dream off and on since. It always ends the same way, the woman picks up the boy, there is a second loud bang and I wake up in bed. This morning I figured out what is triggering it, cherry pie. Some of the halls outside my classes, the store and even in the hall outside my apartment. Some of those times I had seen Rick in the area, but I know it’s not him.
